No one is mentioning him because rightly so nobody thinks you will get past Wilder. It’s not that you are not a good boxer because you are but when your only keys to victory is to try and dodge and stay out of harms way for 12 rounds and get a decision in America I don’t fancy your chances knowing that Wilder only needs to clip you. Reading through some of these comments you’d think Ortiz was the second coming of a prime Joe Frazier, not a 40 year old Cuban who’s best win is Bryant Jennings...

And reading through these responses you would think Povetikin was an undisputed, undefeated, lineal heavyweight champ with an HOF resume. lol.. Ortiz is bigger, moves better, and is a better technical boxer. He has more power than Povetkin, and can fight going in or coming out. Povetkin has quick hands but he can only fight going in. And his size power puts him behind the 8 ball before he even steps in the ring. Yeah based on this Ortiz does come off as the better of the two.

Too bad AJ and Wilder fight isn't happening next. But as long as AJ picks good opponents I'm cool with that kind of over him and Wilder fighting I figure I'll just enjoy watching them fight which is the best thing and if the fight eventually happens it's a bonus (though it makes me frustrated at times still). But all in all I like quality fights.

The DAZN app worked perfect for me on my phone and when I went to a friends house to watch the main event, we used his Fire Stick and it worked well. Another buddy of mine used Chromecast and it worked very well also. We're out here in California, not sure if that makes a difference. But I enjoyed the stream and broadcast, it was Crystal Clear.

Posters are expecting a 245lb heavyweight to not get hit like Wilfredo Benitez.
Povetkin is short and comes underneath with shots from everywhere..hooks with power as well.
At this level it's impossible to walk through every fighter you face especially an Olympic and world champion who only got beat by klitchcko in his prime.
Joshua victims are klitchcko,Parker,povetkin,whyte and next it will be wilder added to the list.
I thought Joshua showed great movement on the back foot and stayed calm till he the opening presented its self.

All the top heavyweights have flaws but Joshua is at his best when he throws combinations. He needs to do more of that because his combinations have always been very smooth and he has gotten away from that recently but reminded how good those are when he took out Povetkin. If he mixes combinations in with the jab and right hand, he would be a more superb fighter.

I agree with you on this. Sergio did a great job tonight.
The rest of the commentary team needs some work. Brian Kenny was nothing more than a house fighter cheerleader and Sugar Ray Leonard offered virtually no real analysis that would be expected from an ATG like himself.

SRL, unfortunately, sounds like he has 1st signs of dementia. Can't get his words out in a timely manner meaning he has lost mental sharpness.

Joshua's physique is impressive, the most aesthetic top boxer today. For such a big muscular body, he has very good speed and leg movement.

And he has charisma and brains, listening to the after fight interview one can realize that he is not the typical brain-dead champion. He is very articulate and enjoyable to listen to with that exotic accent he has.

Beyond the physical admiration, he seems very strong and intelligent IMHO, to be beaten by Wilder. I think Joshua hits just as hard or harder, and he is smarter although evidently slower because he is way more heavy and muscular.

BTW I am female, not that there would be anything wrong if any guy admired Joshua's physique as much as I do, but I've read so many ****** comments made by idiots on here who are either teenagers or one of those close-minded brainless fools, that I feel I need to state this gender thing so the damn fools don't start commenting idiotic stuff like "that's gay" or whatever ******ity, but I repeat it, nothing wrong at all if any guy also admires his body and presence aside from his great boxing. Just as one did also admire Klitschko's presence and physique as well and when those two titans clashed, Joshua and Wladimir, it was a feast to the eyes, both in the boxing performance level and the physique admiration as well.

Thanks, I used the Roku media digital player. Maybe that had something to do with it. Perhaps I should upgrade to the fire Stick or Google Chromecast or something. I am sorry man; I mean no disrespect but I cannot watch my fights on a phone
