I agree & this is why I say Canelos clean,he was the 1st ppv fighter to demand vada for all his fights consistently,& even when chavez jr was crying he wanted some 3rd rate outfit so memo heroidia can load him up canelo demanded VADA. Theres countless athletes from many different sports who have gone their entire careers before & afterwards under most stringent testing without ever failing a test,then they go to mexico(or a couple other 3rd world countries) & suddenly pop dirty for trace amounts of clenbuterol. Vada testing once caught a huge tennis star (link below) dirty for *******,& then he appealed & was cleared when it was proven to be true that he kissed a girl in the club & got contact ******* from her, because the vada test is so advanced it can detect a few single ******* molecules. In my honest opinion dirty fighters do everything in their power to avoid VADA just as Marquez did vs pac & Bradley & just as Jr did vs canelo,they don't demand it for every fight then suddenly get popped for a steroid that has zero benefits to humans because we lack the proper receptors compared to cattle.

I've always said it was ultra shady that pac got away with that lame excuse for refusing to fight Mayweather btw

The undercard was rubbish and usually GGG and Canelo's undercard are always rubbish. This is one reason they will not do well at the box office. Have some good fights and recognisable names not just some Mexican idiots on the card.

But could one argue that because Boxing is so divided it allows mega fights like maypac to be made?

For instance if Floyd and Manny were under the same promoter their fight wouldn't have been as big a deal.

But how is that good for fans? Wouldn't you have rather seen the fight five years earlier for $50 instead of five years later for $100? No matter how you slice it, sports are the only business where a monopoly is good for the fans.

Everyone should be rooting for HBO to leave boxing. Everyone should be rooting for DAZN to fail (although I'm rooting for it to succeed since I do business with DAZN). As many fighters as possible ending up in PBC or with Top Rank increases the number of great fights fans will end up with.

If PBC ever failed and TR fully took over, or if TR ever failed and PBC fully took over, it'd be the best scenario possible for boxing fans in the US. The top fighters would all be in the same league and the fights you'd want to see would almost always happen. Fans shouldn't be rooting for five leagues to succeed, they should be rooting for one league to succeed so we can finally have the best fight the best on a regular basis.

Pacquiao vs. DLH had like a 2 hour wait, also DLH vs. Trinidad took forever then Trinidad forgot his mouth peice so it took even longer. Hopkins vs. Trinidad took awhile because of the wraps.

The truth is this was a great event and amazing Main event, out of all the PPV's I've watched in over 20 years this main event is up there with Pacquiao vs. Marquez 4 and DLH vs. Vargas as big PPVs that actually delivered.

Tyson vs. Holyfield was named fight of the year but the truth is it was actually 1 sided.

That being said, most logical people would agree that there really hasn't been complete PPV cards since Don King. Too bad he was a leech that robbed every fighter that he ever met, or he'd still be in the game showing these turds how to build a fight card.
