For me it all started with Mayweather. I'm a Floyd fan, but far from a "big" fan if his. However, when HBO media started slamming Floyd and praising Manny...I knew there and then HBO was the Fox News of sports broadcasting.

All of Mannys celebrated wins came after Floyd...already did beat them. Hatton, DLH, Mosley, JMM, etc.

Now half the sport - including the WBC - operate an initiative to clean-up the sport of boxing, but HBO would say "if Manny wont bend to your will Floyd...". How is it bending to someone's will if both fighters are being tested?? THEYRE BOTH BEING TESTED. One guy is saying he won't while climbing record number of divisions and stopping larger opponents while another guy is winning in the same way he always has and trying to do drug testing.

Everything else was just HBO trying to "influence" people and they succeeded only in my cancellation of anything Jim wife beating Lampley had to say about anything. Add Merchant and Lederman to that group too.

Anything HBO Boxing did well died in 2012.

I agree & this is why I say Canelos clean,he was the 1st ppv fighter to demand vada for all his fights consistently,& even when chavez jr was crying he wanted some 3rd rate outfit so memo heroidia can load him up canelo demanded VADA. Theres countless athletes from many different sports who have gone their entire careers before & afterwards under most stringent testing without ever failing a test,then they go to mexico(or a couple other 3rd world countries) & suddenly pop dirty for trace amounts of clenbuterol. Vada testing once caught a huge tennis star (link below) dirty for *******,& then he appealed & was cleared when it was proven to be true that he kissed a girl in the club & got contact ******* from her, because the vada test is so advanced it can detect a few single ******* molecules. In my honest opinion dirty fighters do everything in their power to avoid VADA just as Marquez did vs pac & Bradley & just as Jr did vs canelo,they don't demand it for every fight then suddenly get popped for a steroid that has zero benefits to humans because we lack the proper receptors compared to cattle.

I've always said it was ultra shady that pac got away with that lame excuse for refusing to fight Mayweather btw

Yeah after the Munguía fight ended we all thought the Canelo fight was about to start, then all of a sudden we see the timer until the main event say “50:00”

Hes 100% right. Mismatches with KO punchers. It started wayyyy too early. I noticed the interview they played twice of Canelo lol. Seriously Showtime is way better. I used to love HBO but the commentating on Showtime made me love it more.

Its sad cause I paid for HBO for a long time just for boxing but now we dont get fights anymore

1 Hour and 20 Minutes waiting for the Main Event to start with no fights to watch was utterly ridiculous. Of course the Commentary was even worse, Lampley and Kellerman are Disgraceful, had it not been for Roy Jones Jr, Lampley would just ignore what Canelo landed and have a ****** over anything GGG Landed. How hard is it to call it right down the middle like the Greats: Don Dunphy, Howard Cosell, Al Michaels, Bob Sheridan when you go back and listen to them call fights it was straight down the middle not this BS that Lampley does.

That being said, Bob put on the worse damn PPV Cards overall, said himself he doesn't care about Undercards because "Nobody Watches Them"
