so the fights you want are more likely to happen.
if the best talent is spread across five leagues, the best are less likely to face the best.
imagine if the nba and aba never merged, and you also had three more leagues. lebron, steph, kd, etc all in different leagues.
For instance if Floyd and Manny were under the same promoter their fight wouldn't have been as big a deal.Comment

They really screwed up by trying to “preschedule” a main event. What a down time, lost a lot of buzz. Peter Nelson needs to get fired asapComment

Also this aspect of the sport is what makes it so valuable to so many different networks ( the Mayweather effect) the hope that maybe one they will make another Mayweather who can bring in hundreds of millions of dollarsComment

I remember watching Bute-Di Luisa on some channel. I thought, "**** it, just going to peep it in Spanish." I hit the SAP button and there wasn't any commentary, just the sounds of the fight. It was glorious, I teared up a little.Comment

Anyone gots Sirius Radio & heard this whole show? What else was said about HBO?
Arum's definitely right in regards to the long ass pause. I believe it was a 1hr20mins between the last undercard fight & the main event. Thats f#cked up. Idk why you don't show Vergil Ortiz's fight & some of the other undercard fights to fill up your time. No one wanted to see these mfers talk for 80 minutes.
this
surely a plan B wasn't too hard to setup
seems like a very easy problem to solve
they could have also replayed a canelo fight and a golovkin fight during that timeframeComment
