How Did You Score The 12th Round? (Pivotal)

It was a close round but personally, I scored it for GGG. I thought he landed more of the hardest punches in the round. However, a draw would have sufficed as well. They both bit down and dug deep as they gave as good as they got in that round.

Initially I scored it for GGG but like everyone else I was on my way to Tanked City. Now rewatching it, I still score it for GGG but it was a close round. However there were 3 ads in that final round that really broke the immersion, how can Mexican fans stand that?

Close rd. Golovkin started really well and landed the better punches by far. Canelo came back with combos but Golovkin was also landing along with him, and probably ended it better too. Thus I am leaning to golovkin, but im not going to tell anyone they cant give it to canelo.

Would probably have to do a slow mo and punch count to get the truth out, too much.

Canelo. And this comes from a guy who stared into his tshirt drawer on Saturday deciding to wear a Canelo shirt or a GGG shirt. I wore the GGG shirt!

The 12th was crucial on my card. Golovkin had won the last 2, had momentum and needed one more for a draw. But, I scored it for Canelo because he landed the better shots. I divide a round into three 1 minute segments. Canelo won all three.

That made it 7-5 Canelo on my card.

It was a good round but Canelo landed much more big shots. Just kind of came down to that. It was kind of clear to me tbh. GGG landed a bunch of jabs in the beginning but Canelo landed what had to be at least a 2-1 edge in power shots. He landed with everything. To the body, uppercuts, left hooks, lead right hands. And they were quality power punches to boot.


Good round. But it’s not up to debate imo.

i hate canelo not a fan of ggg either but canelo to me clearly won round 12, he landed the more effective punches and to me was the aggressor. Round 12 canelo

Canelo clearly, GGG had a great first 30 seconds, after that he had very little success, Canelo was landing power shots and moving him around the ring.
