The Hatton that fought Collazo would be easily beaten by Gatti.

But I've been following Hatton since January 1995 and I can tell you that he has a toolbox full right up. He can do it all! He can move his head on the way in and throw a little jab on the way out, he has a variety of feints and a variety of punches, he can give you angles, he can side-step, he can shift his position to open you up, he can jab your head off, he can break your hips, he can place his shots, he can lever his shots, he can show finesse or he can excite your pants off, he can move in and out range or he can pressure your ass off.

Watch the Stewart fight and you see ultra-sharp hands and a bundle of snap. Watch the Oliveira fight and you see accurate output from all sides. Watch him out-box and knockout Freddie Pendleton in two rounds (who gave Whitaker a good workout). Watch him stop Tony Pep with body shots (who gave Mayweather a good workout). Watch him befuffle Ben Tackie with his jab and footwork (beat him in even more impressive fashion than Tszyu and Mitchell). Or better yet, go eat some ****..

Oh and don't want any ****ers saying **** like 'oh, Magee dropped him and gave him a difficult fight so Mayweather will spank him'. Let me tell you, apart from being a southpaw, Eamonn Magee is a former TOP amateur who got a silver medal at the World Junior's in 1989 and avenged his defeat to Urkal in 1993 before quitting boxing for a few years. He only turned pro because he had no money, when he fought Hatton it was the first time he ever got himself into shape, he stopped smoking for the first time ever and knocked out Branco in sparring for Hatton. Magee had been robbed against Paul Burke with no training, and apart from that he'd only lost one early fight.

Magee was a genuine, world-class fighter who Hatton out-boxed. Remember, Hatton/Magee was a 50/50 pick 'em! Magee had showed flashes in his career of awesome handspeed here and there, and I've rarely seen anybody who could counter-punch off the ropes as well as him.

Going into the fight Magee was rated #3 by the WBC while Hatton was #4.

Hatton is the best body puncher in the world and always has been, he came up with combinations to the body that nobody had ever done before.

The guy is seriously good, you American's just haven't seen the best of him.

I can sort of understand why he does it, theres a lot of hate of British boxers by SOME Americans on these forums, most of the time it's just ignorant people in general, take a look at what some people thought about Calzaghe before the Lacy fight, without ever seeing him fight, or just having hate in them. As i said, it's not everyone, but quite a few it seems.
