Juicy, honestly are we ever going to see the boxing Hatton that fought MaGee?

Hopefully not, becuase if he tries to box with Judah, Floyd or Collazo again, he will be in serious trouble.

Well, because I knew Kerry Kayes had just six or seven weeks to put 5lbs of muscle onto Ricky's frame. I thought he would be carrying unnessacary weight, which would cause a flat performance. I thought he might be rusty (having not fought for six months), which would cause a flat performance. And I thought that his lifestyle might start to catch up with him, which would cause a flat performance.

I also saw Collazo was no slouch in a few clips, and a naturally bigger man and southpaw (everything wrong for Hatton eg Brahmer, Quiros, Magee).

Yeah, so thats not true.
Hatton walks around at well over 150 pounds, ive even heard reports of him up around 180!!

Having SKILLS that are world class, and BEING A WORLD CLASS FIGHTER are differnt things.

PBF is right. Magee was not world class, simply because he didn't beat any world-ranked top-ten opponents. He clearly could have, so JuyJuy is right about the world-class skills part, but he didn't prove it. If the guy fought in the States he would have definitely made some noise with his wild style and sharp punching if he was matched up against the right fighters. I could see him getting a dramatic win or two, and getting a title shot if he was handled right. But he just can't prove he's world class fighting a string of guys from N. Ireland.

But if you watch the Hatton fight, you'll see Magee not only knock Hatton down, you'll see him hurt him several times during the fight when they exchanged. Magee was no joke.

I then said something about how its easy to outbox C level opposition or something like that.
Juy then called Magee world class.
I flipped, he flipped, Smokin came in and trolled a little bit and pretended to know what he was talking about.
It was a good time.

PBF do you think worldclass is winning in 4 divisions or something? Cuz that ain't worldclass, that is great...worldclass is being a top 10 fighter and he definitely was.

By this do you mean rated top 10 by and Boxing Orginization?
Just the major 4?
Or just a magazine like the Ring???
