Gary O'Sullivan is a domestic-level club fighter. He could be in fan friendly fights against the right opposition. It's admirable that GBP managed to guide him almost to a title shot! He could be like a modern day Micky Ward, if they could find him the limited opponents to show his skills against.

If a fighter cant make weight in a healthy way then he isn't meant for that weight class.
An example of Gatti vs Gamache, Gatti had a lot of weight advantage, although he did the weight the previous day. He ended Gamache's career and he still has issues to this day. (mind you, I'm a hugeee fan of Gatti).

Too much is made of weight. Floyd almost always weighed less than his opponents. Lemieux punches like a beast no matter what. Hes not shredded or overly muscled. If anything making weight hurts him. He couldn't take out GGG? Hit him clean a few times. Somebody tell me what Spike weighed on fight night? I just have no respect for anyone saying "I fought a light heavy weight in there". Spike certainly didn't weigh exactly 160lbs in the ring. Also a Light heavy weight is probably 180lbs-195lbs in the ring. He made weight at considerable effort im sure, and thats whats asked of him. No one cares when a heavyweight is outweighed by 50lbs or shorter by 6 inches. I mean people like Lemieux exist and hes not even close to the best in the division, so Spike can move down if thats why he thinks he lost.
