i love how people say he doesn't deserve this shot. how many title challengers actually do? all briggs has to do is hit wlad on the chin solidly with his nutsack and wlad will drop like a sack of potatos. seriously people, when exactly did wlad become mr. invincible? he has strung a couple of wins together and all of the sudden we forget his glass jaw and weak ass stamina, and his propensity to become gumby when he gets hit flush. he is far from perfect, and anybody who can punch like Briggs can has a dam good shot to knock wlad the **** out.

briggs power hasnt ever been enough to beat a top 15 guy. its so overrated its laughable. sure he looks like superman against class c and below guys,,,,but hell jeremy williams also did against the same type of guys. as soon as they step up they get whupped. your the same clown who said lewis doesnt hit hard for his size. you clearly know little about boxing

I dont think its a bad move, he's a name, but not a big name. This is an opportunity to win a title. If he loses, big deal. Nobody really considers him a major player in this division anyway at the moment. I wouldnt give him a 50/50 chance, but he still has a chance.

I said Briggs has a 50/50 shot if he goes balls out from the opening bell. If the first bell rings, and he swings to take Wlad out within the first six minutes or bust, he's got a 50/50 shot.

The chances he'll actually do that are not very good, but if he were to approach it that way, that's his best shot.

You can talk about who Briggs has lost to all you want. An interesting topic would be to bring up all the fighters Ross Purity, Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster lost to as well.

you're the one with blinders on and not even reading my posts, because i fully understood exactly what you said and even said so... i know there are super wlad fans on here that think he's god, so you must confusing me for them cause i'm always objective.... i'm a fan of wlad, but i also know his weaknesses and limitations... also, i'm not having to resort to insults like you...

you think if briggs went balls to the wall the 1st 2 rounds he would have a 50/50 chance, i just disagree... briggs has the same problems as wlad, questionabl chin, stamina and confidence, but wlad is the much better fighter... brigss has more losses than wlad, to worse opponents(wilson, fields, mccline), has been one punched KO'd, counted out on his back and has not been able to come up off the canvas and win...

thats my case for why its not 50/50 even if briggs goes all out in 2 rounds... if you disagree fine, debate without having to resort to chilish insults about genitals...
