Briggs vs Wlad: Bad career move for Briggs

i know its just an boxrec schedule, but if it really happen, i know Wald would destroy Briggs. for some reason, i like briggs. currently, he is in my top 10 favorite fights list. for his own good, i hope he doesn't take the Wlad fight and fight other champs. he is currently #2 ranked challenger in WBO. i hope he fights Sergei Liakhovich and win his first world title and then fight Wlad and get his ass kicked. i hope he win a title before he retire...

I think its a good career move because with the opposition he is facing, he is lucky to get a title shot with any of the champions, and he can get paid money, get his shot, and retire if he loses.

He needs to eventually step up again.Although Wlad wouldn't be my first choice.Shannon probadly figures that "Hey I can punch, this guy doesn't have a good chin, lets do it".

Good move for both fighters. Briggs is on his way to a comeback and the reason for the comeback is to become HW champion. The whole point of him fighting is to get the championship belt. He has had enough experience and it would be his last crack to be on top. Wlad has to fight somebody, the HW division is dry. He beat Peters and Byrd. Briggs,Brock, and Rahman are few legitimate (or at least right now) are the only ones left that could give Wlad a fight fans want to see.

Good Pay Day for Briggs regardless. But as sharp as Vlad looked his last few times out, that glass chin makes him a suspect to be dropped on any given saturday.

I would like to see Briggs fight for one of other titles first, win and then meet Wlad for a unifier fight. The payday would be better for both guys and there would more on the line. I could easily see Briggs beating Lycovich or Valuev for their titles.

Besides, I thought that Wlad wanted to unify the belts; why not press for a fight with Rahman after he gets done with Maskaev. or liakavich?

He has to fight someone in the meantime, so he would have to wait for Rahman. As for Likovich, maybe he should.

the chances of briggs getting past all the other champs let alone even one arent very good considering his past

Lycovich is a King fighter. No way King lets one of his belt holders get near Wlad.
I would love it if this fight happened though.
