Yep agree. Most sports & even the UFC has been having these hype shows with people at some big desk talking up sh^t for years now. Boxing has been slacking in this regard.Comment

Yep. Dana & Fast Eddie are good at breaking down the sport & moves they are making or gonna make. Love or hate either guy, but they hustle their product better than virtually everyone in this promotion game. Most of these other cats are trying to do the same sh^t they've been doing since the 90's & are wondering why all these mfers are watching two Youtube dorks fighting.
People keep saying they think PPV is dying & I just don't understand wtf they are talking about. PPV just doesn't have the names to sell the Floyd & Manny & Oscar level product they were selling in the previous era of boxing.
It seems to me like its just in battle between paid subscription services now in boxing with ESPN+ & DAZN getting into the game AND now this free product with PPV attached. But yea at the end of the day its all about the product you put forth & if you give people quality for a price they don't question paying then you are gonna win. So the question is gonna be do you wanna pay a lil bit for all the fights on a platform vs pay a lot for the biggest fights on another platform with most of the other fights for free or on Showtime (& w/e new place PBC is going to be working with in a couple weeks).
As a fan I'm ultimately just happy we got so much high level boxing happening & there is more competition. There is gonna be winners & loses in all this & this time won't last forever which may be good or bad depending on what the next thing is.Comment

What I took from this is they are gonna make boxing (PBC) more fan friendly. Various shows like other sports have outside of the actual event. Take the NBA for example. Besides the game you have a post game show and a pre game show. NBA Tonight, NBA Inside Stuff and other programs throughout the week.
They said Fox will have 10 Shows, FS1 10 Shows and SHO at least one a month. Said the FOX and SHO will use same talent.
And I noticed they mentioned PPV on both networks. Fox and SHO.
Maybe they're taking the WWE/UFC model of having a PPV. But instead of monthly programs maybe 2 a year one each. They didn't really go into detail on the PPV programing.
Only got thru half of it so far ...
Also said there's another huge surprise in the coming weeks. I'm thinking it's another TV deal.Comment

or in other words more hype and deflection away from the actual product since it wasn't catching on with fans. they need to tell us even more how amazing their product is so we truly understand. maybe even get the great trump to tell us how great it is and how its the best. keep saying it and it will come true! What I took from this is they are gonna make boxing (PBC) more fan friendly. LOL exactly. People who love boxing have wanted more shows like this so they are preaching to the choir there & those casual fans who they wanna attract are more likely to become knowledgable & hyped about fights cuz these shows are pointing out things they should know & fights they wanna see.
Its a win win thing & the sports people are paying the most attention & are most loyal to have been doing this forever.Comment

IDK. It has to be a TV deal what else could it be?
CBS? Or NBC can be the only ones I can think of unless they got another cable outlet like TNT or something. That would be a good network since they're NBA fan base is built in and they can piggyback that. Saturdays are free besides playoff time and NCAA Tournament week.Comment
