    See what you are doing-not addressing what actually happened but creating a fals exaggerated reality and trying to argue that point.

    The fact is Walters was shelved for 11 months while Loma was kept active. Had they fought when they were supposed to Loma may have won. He also may have lost given that Walters was rehydrating huge and Loma had trouble with Salido's size.

    The point is don't act like people didn't change their view of the fight based on those circumstances.

      a lot of people still picked walters from what i remember, cause at that point people had trashed the russell win to the point where they were saying lomachenko was unproven and walters was a legit world class fighter after beating donaire.

        Ca$hnelo is the most hated.

        The Trump supporters just have that white genocide victim mentality so of course they'll say Borat is the most hated. Hate gets PPV buys. If Borat was so hated his highest PPV buys wouldn't be 170K.

          Yes, some still picked Walters.

          I don't think people devalued the Russell win. I think people that hate Haymon devalued Russell because he fought infrequently, which in turn devalued the Loma win.

              Yeah, I think even the odds makers had it about even. I remember a poll on Ring's website had about 20 experts pick the fight and more picked Russell. Loma wasn't as hated back then but a lot of people picked Russell to win on the forums, social media etc;. A LOT.

              I think it is considered a good win but just not by people that hate fighters from a certain part of the world and some of those folks were very high on GRJ.

              I was at this fight and close to the ring. Very impressive performance and very dominant perhaps a little more than I predicted (I had it 11-1). I think Loma has improved more than Russell but I also went to GRJ's fight with Gonzalez and he was very, very impressive in that one. I just wish he'd fight more. He's got elite talent and is fun to watch.

                To be accurate one must measure from when the hate intensity is really on for the particular fighter and how much it radiates subsequent from that point. With that in mind, Broner is consistant. The hate never goes away with AB....and another suprse that I don't see mentioned is...

                Garcia. Danny is usually hated because of Angel and because of his comments. Look at all his recent fights from all the way back, the hate never lacked intensity.

                  Yes some did. Again the people that devalued Russell as a fighter are the people that hate Haymon. Otherwise it's considered a good win.

                      I'd say it's well received but god win? That's Duran-Leonard, Greb-Tunney, Ali-Foreman etc;
