I think it is considered a good win but just not by people that hate fighters from a certain part of the world and some of those folks were very high on GRJ.

I was at this fight and close to the ring. Very impressive performance and very dominant perhaps a little more than I predicted (I had it 11-1). I think Loma has improved more than Russell but I also went to GRJ's fight with Gonzalez and he was very, very impressive in that one. I just wish he'd fight more. He's got elite talent and is fun to watch.
It is sad that you correlate picking Russell with hating Loma. Nothing wrong with thinking Russell might win. Why do you equate picking a guy to lose with "hating " him?

No, the people that say Russell is a nobody are the people that hate Haymon.

I didn't. I said people just picked Russell. I even made that point it's before Lomachenko was hated so it was a pick more based on Boxing and using a level head.

I said in hindsight it's not considered good by certain people due to the region where he's from.

No dramashow it isn't. You guys do this all the time.

The other thing you do is devalue when a Haymon guy wins but lift someone if the same guy loses to a non haymon guy.

That is why I asked you about Pedrazza last week. A ton of guys said he was nothing when Tank destroyed him.

Now that Loma is fighting him watch how certain guys change.

I think it's Broner 1st and Khan a close second. Two truly dislikable boxers in my opinion. GGG might be the most hated because of where he is from and the fact that nobody can beat him so far. He is a polite likable guy in my opinion. It's strange such an exciting hard punching boxer is so hated. I think the hate for him will actually increase if he beats Canelo. His hate club will come up with a new guy or two who they insist can surely beat him and who he is supposedly ducking.

I can see it shifting to Charlo on Sunday morning if the fight is judged correctly.

Andrade won't do because he's a Hearn guy, Jacobs has already lost, Saunders is probably considered on the other side too so that leaves Charlo who'd get absolutely wrecked.

You might be right about GGG getting some hate because of his fans. Of course he has no control over who his fans are or what they post on here. When I see him being trashed unfairly I stick up for him just as I would for any other boxer who didn't deserve to be trashed. The funny part is all the hate for boxers on here never bothers the boxers it's directed at because they probably never read any of it. It's only fans of the hated boxers who get offended.I can't help but stick up for boxers who get unreasonable hate. I should try to remember the boxer will never read it anyway.

they already have their contingency plan- jermall charlo. a few might latch onto dereveyenchenko if he beats jacobs but ultimately hes still a white european so if dereveyenchenko was to get the win then he himself would need a boogeyman, which again would be jermall charlo.
