It's a real pity Mansour spent his prime years in jail for substance abuse crimes.

For a small HW in an era of giants, in his 40s and with little experience, he did amazingly well. The guy obviously had a lot of ability as well as a huge heart.

Mansour is a G, one of my fav fighters! I'd like him to get a Wilder/Joshua payday tbh.

I thought it was strange also that Mansour failed a PED test recently. The strange part was that the drug he failed for was an opioid, hardly a performance enhancer.

Controlled substance charge and violating parole. I don't know if he was a drug trafficker or not.

dude enough of your clueless, ******* BS, mansour did 10 years for ******* trafficking, he wasn't in there for personal use weed .

and when he violated his parole / probation he was found in a house with drugs, lots of money, other felons, guns, and ammo. this guy was not a saint. he wasted his substantial boxing talent in prison. and then he went back and wasted some more of it.

fun fighter, ok career in spite of everything, but don't act like he was some innocent cupcake who the man kept down. he did the crime, did the time, then did the crime and did the time again!

well he was convicted and did nine years in federal prison for it [******* trafficking,] so the federal court system seemed to know he was a drug trafficker. there was also his parole violation, where he was, you know, staying at a drug house.

I'm not the federal court system so I only know what I read online. I'm not well up on the American legal system, but I know they are usually harsher with black offenders than white, whatever the crime, and the sentences for drug offenders are also harsher in the US than here in the UK, across the board.

I mention that because 2 friends of mine were jailed for 25 years and 10 years for trafficking ******* into the country aboard a fishing vessel. They were both white, family men with no criminal records till then.

For a black man, in the US, to get only 8 1/2 years for a similar offence makes me think he can't have had much coke on him when he got caught. He maybe just got pulled over by the police crossing a state line with a bag in his car. I guess he's lucky they didn't shoot him.
