From what Spence said earlier this year, he was promised to get the winner of Garcia vs. Porter! I can only believe that was coming from Haymon! I just hope the WBC allows a unification to trump a mandatory! If I were managing Spence, I would have him fight the winner before Mikey! Mikey seems like he's not sure about wanting the Spence fight after all! The IBF isn't helping either! Why do they still not have a fighter ranked #1 @ WW?

A little?? If you don't have your paperwork in they are going to strip you. I think they stripped Tyson fury so fast it was a shame. IBF don't play.

IBF mandatory was way overdue before Fury ever fought for the title. Both Klitschko and fury promised the IBF That the winner of their fight Would face the IBF mandatory next. Klitschko and fury signed a secret rematch clause and hid it from the IBF.

Fury was stripped for breaking his promise to the IBF.

So...WBC future champ cant unify with IBF since WBC Pres said mandatory defenses. IBF champ cant unify WBO champ since the WBO champ signed multi-year deal with Top Rank. Meanwhile the WBA champ is out there hiding in Nepal smoking grass with dubious gf.

Way to go welterweights! You just beat every division out there for being Miss Diva!

True....They sworn up and down that Wilder had to fight Breazeale next or they get sued. That was when they were trying to get Whyte out of the way for Wilder. They are sooooooo corrupt its not even a joke anymore.

I didn't know about the promise. Then basically they should have never allowed to IBF belt to be at stake if the contract had a legal binding rematch clause. The IBF had to knew.
