While eastern Europe isn't a country for sure, I read his post as saying US and Mexico were the top 2, since he goes on to say "the third spot is debatable "

Based solely on how many titles sit in each country currently it’s

      1. United States
      2. United Kingdom
      3. Mexico

If you are one of those ignorant people that say all Eastern Europeans are Russians or that Eastern Europe is a country then they are a close second on belts but have the joint most pound for pound top 10 entrants with USA and outright most top 5 based on consensus p4p rankings. Not bad for a region that’s only been entering the pro game for a very limited time.

Historically Puerto Rico is remarkable given its size.

          USA
          Japan
          Mexico
          Ukraine catching up.

The thing with people saying "eastern europe" is that it WAS one big country (USSR) until the 90's. Half these boxers were born in the USSR. Bivol is "Russian born" GGG is "Russian Born" Usyk, Lomachenko, etc. All "Russian Born"

but none of them would be considered Russian if they were born today.

I assume US, since he mentioned it first. I read it as US (#1) and Mexico (#2) are top dogs. The third spot is debatable...

That's just what I inferred from it

By all means, educate the masses then on how the Soviet Union was never a country.
