I always think back to the interview where AJ said he wasn't physically, mentally, or emotionally ready to fight Wilder at the time. (about a year ago) He said he would fight Wilder when he was sure he could beat him.

That pretty much sums it up.

Wilder should KO Fury then spark our Whyte. That leaves Joshua with no other options to run too for a big fight.

Wilder is the one ducking d'uh.

Didn't respond to offers. Asked AJ to accept a fight over social media but would not show Hearn / Joshua any terms. Would not travel to UK for Joahus Parker. Would not show up in NYC when Hearn went there to make the fight. Held on to a written offer sent and would not even speak, respond - KNOWING that time was running out for Joshua.

Currently has a ****ing signed offer for Wembley to fight AJ in 2019, won't sign it.

Some people can't tell the difference between Wilder trolling and an actual professional approach and desire to make the fight. Wilder has decided to price himself out of it cos he wants no part of Joshua. They should film the negotiations, if anyone can get Wilder / Finkel to the table.

Tell me what part of what I have written is untrue?

That sounds funny coming from Joshua when he referenced Wilder fighting Fury after a 3 year layoff. Actually, Fury had a layoff of around 2 & 1/2 years and he beat the “undisputed champion,” Wladimir, before his layoff who was 37 at the time. Joshua on the other hand fought Wladimir after he had a layoff of around 1 & 1/2 years and was 41. But that version wasn’t an undisputed champion. Because before Wladimir’s layoff, he lost all his titles to Fury. Both Joshua and Wilder are fighting “former” champions that were inactive. Don’t be a hypocrite! Revisionists history-LOL!!!

Now when Joshua says there is enough food for all of us to eat I have to look at him twice because he is not behaving like he wants to share amicably. He is behaving like Deontay is a mandatory with the splits.
I wish both of them with treat this like Ali and Frazier.

I will concede again if you were looking at the body language of both Fighters Wilder looked more keen to lock horns. However, Team Wilder( not Deontay per se ) what did they stand to make from the flat fee deal? We know what Deontay will achieve he will become the undisputed but as Shrewd business men and I underestimated just how cunning and clever Winkel is, accepting such a deal is a slap in the face to him.

Winkel and his team have agreed a fight with Fury with no location or date finalised. Fury hasn’t come out and complained there is no date because they are on the same page. If Winkel in particular was more forthcoming instead of being adroit with the information he chooses to divulge perhaps I wouldn’t argue a single point you are making but his actions has given Team Joshua an escape plan. Albeit make no mistake if Joshua is not shouting from the roof tops to face Wilder this month and I dare hear him mention Whyte I will openly come on hear and apologise for doubting you
The date I do not believe Fury nor Wilder have have asked the other side to sign a contract with no date or location. Big difference from the Wilder Joshua situation.

Of course. At least Wilder frequently speaks of knocking Joshua out.

I am not sure a person who says that a champion should get paid less than what a mandatory Challenger would get paid can be called unbiased.

Joshua must face it. He lost his chance. Now 50-50 if no fight.
