OMG. Hearn can't be that ****ing dumb. Why would Wilder sign NOW for a fight with Joshua, while he has a fight lined up with Fury and Joshua has a fight lined up with Povetkin?????????????????

He is a total moron, and anyone that agrees with him is too. Sorry if the shoe fits.

If it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck and looks like a duck, it is a duck.

Hearn's words shows that team Joshua is ducking.

Is it the guy whose manager refuses to meet with the other guy's promoter? Not even saying Hearn wanted the fight right away, but there wasn't much from wilder's side other than hearsay and a lot of pricing him out. But yea, a "rational person" just picks a side and ignores any responsibility they may have while blaming the other guy.

many fighters/fans today cannot understand the concept of winning a fight off the back foot

and we are losing the old school training style which was more about mentoring, the top two inches..... too many mitt-men, not enough technical proficiency

and Mayweather is the only 15 round fighter of recent times

back in the day, boxing was much tougher, period..... because life was much tougher

today, fans think Lemieux is elite..... back in the day, he would be making a living doing something else
Wilder caught Ortiz off the back foot... last minute of round 10.. the past fighters paved the way for today.. but who would win is a Neverending debate because this is the present and the past doesn't exist anymore.. so why come up with hypotheticals.. when in truth Wilder could ko any of the heavyweight from back in the day.. maybe they can do the same to him.. but who cares if we can't see it!

True.. I love the way he threw 241 lbs Ortiz like a ragg doll. Wilder weighed in a 214..

                  Fighting abroad
                  No rematch clause
Conflicting commercial/ sponsorship interests etc etc

Having said that the majority of fighters would not balk at such a deal nd I believe if both camps were amicable with each other such as team Parker and team Joshua perhaps they could have thrashed out a deal.

If I offered to pay a fighter 50 million, the least I could do is meet them in person instead of telling the media or getting them to accept the deal over the phone. You know my sentiments on this whole ordeal team Joshua especially Hearn has shown signs of apprehension but Team Wilder not necessarily the fighter have procrastinated too.

Hearn needs to change the flat fee to a percentage .very simple write up a contract 30% now, if he fights and defeats Fury in Nov or December with PPV over 400,000 percentage will be 40%if over 1 million PPV then potentially more. Any terms close to that I feel Americans will start changing their tune and will be expecting their leader to sign.

I have no qualms calling it how I see it. I feel we will beat Deontay and knock him out however, I feel those chances reduces if the fight was in Las Vegas and if Deontay connects with our chin😜
Lmao! u don't believe that crap! AJ is frank bruno 2.0 vs Tyson 2.0

If the contract wasn't serious because it lacked those details then the 50 mil was laughable. My point is you can't say Wilder tried everything by offering that and say Hearn threw the fight away by not including a date and venue.
Are you just learning of theses negotiations? Or did you forget the ACTUAL details? The $50 million offer was fully negotiated, to which Hearn said there was a 70% chance AJ signs, AJ said, he was 90% sure the fight would be made. The location was a venue in Vegas, in September, exact date and venue could not be tied down because of the Canelo/GGG negotiations. over 20 days passed before the offer was rejected, not on the grounds that it was not good, in fact they admitted it was a good offer - because their reasoning and explanation dictated them admitting that they were willing to accept a lesser offer, for less money, because AJ owed it to his fans to have the fight in the UK. You are wrong.

Not that I agree with IMDAZED, but the back and forth between you two was mildly entertaining, and reminded me. There was a study done a few years back that found sports fans who interject themselves in to the sport/team by saying "we" are often the most deluded and craziest of a fan base. It said something like it helps relieve feelings of inadequacy, living vicariously, and a longing to be a part of something, among other things. It said that many of these fans also fall in to actual depression if their respective team loses, and many of them don't even notice that they are saying "we". Anyway like I said, I'm not trying to go at you, just found it funny that the whole "we" thing came up in a boxing forum. After all "fan" is short for fanatic, you'll be surprised how many people don't actually know that lol. It was an interesting study, wish I had the link.
