I’m not saying he’s as good as Wilder. He did about 500k on PPV (about $30) with no appreciable undercard. Wilder is the bigger draw, but they are in the same ballpark most likely

What sort of numbers you reckon Wilder does vs Parker?
Yes, he does well in the UK. A small country. His fight versus the Australian bouncer did sh** numbers here. Wilder is the biggest American boxer today (a country 20 times bigger) and is a bigger name elsewhere, not to mention as big and probably bigger in the UK.

Who cares where they are from? They draw what they draw. Wilder is pulling in, what, a mill and half or so on a sub channel, Whyte is getting 500k or so on a PPV (on a sub channel). Both getting paid approx the same.

Wilder probably edges it but it’s not by much. GGG and Crawford were pulling similar numbers to Wilder before going PPV vs relative non draws and they did what, a few hundred Thousand buys? Take into account the extra cost, not too dissimilar to what Whyte just did.

What do you mean who cares? What was the question again? And Wilder has averaged 2m views over his past six fights. So yeah, not close.

So what he's the biggest American boxer? Is that suppose to impress us or something?

If boxing was popular in USA you'd have a point but it is a niche sport so being the biggest American star means f#ck all.

Wilder hasn't fought on PPV nor headlined one. Never fought in Vegas. Sells less tickets than Whyte. Fought worse opponents.

And no Wilder isn't a bigger name elsewhere, they're both equally unknown.

Lol at Wilder being 'probably bigger' than Whyte in the UK.

Right now Whyte is the bigger and more proven draw. Wilder has the potential to top him but whether he will not remains to be seen.

If a hundred people from U.K. watch a fight, it’s the same as a hundred people from the US watching a fight. Doesn’t matter how big the market is only the numbers you pull in.

I find that figure hard to believe considering Wilder vs Ortiz (his biggest fight) did just over a mill. Are you muddying the waters with free to air CBS fights? You know the kind of numbers a guy like Whyte would do on free Tv? Millions easy

You guys would love to believe wilder is a boxing superstar already. He’s not. Not going by the numbers he does

Except only one of them would duplicate their numbers if they switched countries.

And your other logic is warped. isaac Dogboe would draw millions on Ghana TV. Thus he’s as popular as Deontay Wilder.

Its a tough one, Whyte has been on PPV platform. Wilder has never been on one. Right now its has to be the guy who was on PPV, that's just going by facts. Wilder obviously has the potential to do that now especially on the back of these Joshua/Fury saga, but just going by the PPV facts then Whyte is in theory.

He would because boxing is popular in the UK, not so much in the US. Not because he's Deontay Wilder you naive little child.
