Such a big draw that no US Network was willing to pay to show his fight. UK PPVs isn't that impressive, pretty much any big fight in the US would be on Sky PPV if it was staged in the UK.

white has had an enormous push from eddie hearn. he hid joshua behind him for a period. if wilder had 1/10th of that push and investment - and believe me, when the joshua fight is signed he will get publicity that's ahrd for you to understand - do you think that would be a discussion?

so it is not really an appropriate question to ask. draws are a product of investment. they are made. once wilder's in a megafight you will see how big of a draw he can be MADE to be. this country has a state, california, with a greater GDP than all of great britain. there are 50 states. let that sink in.

Yeah. Wilder couldn't have headlined a ppv against Parker.

is gdp some indication of how many people will spend money on ppvs/tickets? it's true that the us has a much bigger population than the uk and in theory wilder could be a huge draw...but the us also has a bunch of other sports etc for people to follow/spend money on. boxing is really a niche sport in the us. it would be interesting to see a study of boxing fans per country per capita. you'd have to think mexico would be up there. either way, wilder is far more interesting than whyte...don't know if people in the uk feel that way tho, and in a relatively small market like boxing, the key is to get the fans interested.

Only a fool think Beyonce is a draw in any country. Whyte sells PPVs, there is no comparison.

So what you're saying is, yes he's a bigger draw, because he's had a bigger push? No need for two paragraphs m8.

Whyte vs Parker sold 850k PPVs. So as things stand right now, he is a bigger draw than Wilder.
