A lot of people say that's his real age already.

You still didn't disprove my point anyway, your criticism of AJ's applies to Wilder just as much if not more considering he's the longest raining champ.
Also the vast majority of people with any boxing knowledge would regard AJ's resume higher consisting of more solid fighters regardless of whether he's being a coward or not.

      • You are holding the contract, you clown.
All you have to do is sign it.
Why involve the fans when the ball is squarely in your court.
        You want 50/50 eh?
It's not about the money doe.
Kills me with this undeserving clown.

"My baby Deontay will not be rushed to fight Wlad."
I gotta rush fighting this Fury clown before he gets into shape doe.

At that point, Wilder pulled out of the deal because he was only willing to accept a flat fee if the fight was next.

You don't even have to bribe them. They get paid a percentage of the purses. They want to be in the AJ business because he has the largest purses.

AJ was never in jeopardy of getting stripped like Hearn claimed. The worst thing that would have happened is that the WBA would have ordered a purse bid weeks later. Meaning Wilder could have signed Friday as promised. Hearn is the one that decided to do Povetkin next. The WBA letter gave him the excuse he needed, even though anybody with an understanding of sanctioning body politics would know the WBA letter was meaningless.

The usual 30 day deadline to reach a deal had already been given - and extended 7 times - by the WBA, and Hearn had already informed them that all terms - including the purses - had been agreed upon by both sides.

That was why they asked him to give them a date ... instead of ordering a purse bid.

There is no doubt at all that AJ would have been stripped of his WBA belt if he hadn't complied. Povetkin's promoter is not a man you can fck around with like that, as Haymon and Wilder found out.

            100% false.

The fight wasn't signed for OVER A WEEK after Hearn claimed they had 24 hours to sign or be stripped. Hearn was clearly lying.

The worst thing the WBA could have done if they didn't voluntarily strike a deal would be to order a purse bid. Organizations are asked all the time for more time to get a deal done voluntarily. Organizations choose to give as much or as little time as they want, but they can't strip a champion for a voluntary deal not happening. If that happens, you order a purse bid. AJ was under no obligation to come to a voluntary agreement with Povetkin.

Further, if Povetkin isn't a safer fight, why would AJ take 20 million to fight Povetkin instead of 50 million to fight Wilder? If Povetkin is more dangerous, why would you leave 30 million dollars on the table so you can take the more dangerous fight?

Do you see how your position doesn't make any sense?
Why all these back and forth thing like a pendulum. I thought we have gone pass this stage of wilder signing and not signing the contract.
I want to back to the past. The fight couldn't be made, it is what it is.
The bookmakers, sometimes I doubt their position. Even unfit fury was made favorite against wilder, that's pathetic.

              Did u see dimitrenco/jennings stoppage?

              It's hilarious.

So let's say you're right. Povetkin is more dangerous than Wilder.

Why would AJ take 30 million less to fight the more dangerous fight?

Have you thought about for once that if wilder had 50mil, he would have had a unification fight with other champs.

Even AJ's side confirmed the 50 million was real. So to question whether the money was real is ridiculous.

Wilder was close to unifying with Parker, offering him a 50/50 deal, but Arum ended up blocking the fight.

Wilder has tried to unify with AJ, but AJ doesn't want the fight yet.

Who else was he supposed to try to unify with? He was supposed to fight Klitschko in 2016 if he beat Fury, but he ended up losing.

Why would Arum block a unification bout with a 50/50 split?
We av had two champs while wilder was champ still he couldn't unify either.
I am not in for all those excuses. Now he has a chance to fight for the undisputed after one fighter has gone through the stress of unifying all other belts still he couldn't find his pen.

Must wilder be spoon fed all the time?
