I've watched every interview Hearn has ever done with IFL. When he offered 12.5 million, he claimed it was 30% of the pot (40 million pot). Then he increased his offer to 15 million, which would be 37.5%. But he won't offer a percentage, because he knows his numbers are bogus and he's trying to rip Wilder off.
[QUOTE]Besides, who says wilder is worth more than 15mil?
Wilder's side believes the pot in the US is 100 million. They're willing to put their money where their mouth is and give AJ the 50 million he requested. If the fight is worth 100 million in the US, why should Wilder take a 15% split of what the fight is really worth, and on top of that, go fight in enemy territory?
Wilder's guarantee for the Fury fight is 12.5 million. For a much easier fight, at home. 12.5 in the US for Fury is a much much better deal for Wilder than 15 in the UK for Joshua.
Parker was given 33%. Wilder is WAYYYY more popular than Parker, this is a way bigger fight, Wilder has the most coveted belt and Parker had the least coveted belt.
Wilder is definitely worth more than Parker. Not even close. To not offer Wilder a percentage means you don't actually want the fight. It's pretty simple. Name one fight this big where there was a flat fee. You can't.

I wish to agree with you on this but the money in question far far more enticing for a fighter of wilder's pedigree. Maybe he should be offered 30% just for the fans but that's far beyond his worth, TBH.
