So it isn't a fact GGG won.

Yeah , he won. What the corrupt score card says means nothing. Officially or not officially, GGG won, Live with it. Hater.

Dude, WTF? You feel he won, cool. Officially, it was a draw. The scorecard means everything because every credible media outlet has GGG's record as 38-0-1, not 39-0.

Yesterday you criticized other posters maturity. What is more immature than stubbornly insisting GGG won a fight that is listed as a draw on his official record?

Calling me a hater doesn't change GGG's official record. see below.

he was without a doubt the most avoided boxer int eh world fora number of eyars. you get some kind of credit for that, even if it's not as good as getting the win. it happened, please don't act like you were asleep for 3-4 years. the guy had tremendous power and high ticket guys with an upside were kept out of the ring with him.

canelo created a weigth class and hid out until golovkin got old. prior to that he was avoided by a very long list of championship / "title" holding level of fighters, and also guys in top 10 contention who turned down world title shots. two hall of famers [i don't think either is a hall of famer, but both will probably get in, cotto for sure,] cotto and martinez

it is what it is. the guy was dangerous and guys avoided him.

I think he IS the lineal champion based on him beating the no. 2 namely Jacobs at a point in time where Canelo had left the division.

Boxingscene's own historian Cliff Rold dropped the ball by failing to acknowledge Golovkin as the lineal champion by arguing that Canelo gave 'lipservice' about his intentions. Cliff forgot that he stripped lineal LHW champion Zsolt Erdei immidiately after he moved up to cruiser. Erdei moved back down later.

So the precedent standard was set by Erdei and therefore Golovkin is the true lineal champion.

Canelo never left the division-he was suspended but still a MW. To my knowledge he hasn't fought above 160.

Golovkin is a bum. Best win a welterweight who was winning until his eye socket broke due to a punch. Canelo beat golovkin the last fight even though he was to muscular. This time he will sleep borat. Mark my words, golovkin will pay for his insults

Except his 164½ fight against JCCjr.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that fight. I stand corrected.

Now that I think about it, he also left the fight before that to win the WBO JWW title from Smith.
