it wasn't that new, it was into it's third decade by the time they fought..

I just checked Hopkins record and he did not have all the middleweight world title belts until he beat Oscar and won the WBO belt. That means Hopkins was the undisputed middleweight champion for only ONE successful title defense against against Eastman. He was NOT the undisputed middleweight champion for any of the other 19 successful title defenses. The guy is a liar with his pants on fire. He is scared that GGG will beat Canelo and break Hopkins's record.

The WBO began in 1988. in 2004 it was only 16 years old.

No belt has instant credibility. The WBO, IBO, IBA, WBU, WBF etc are not legitimate in the eyes of most people.

It is ok if he doesn't like GGG, the same way you don't like fighters. right? Your whole post denigrates his credibility solely because you believe he isn't a GGG fan. Is that really fair?

I don't watch his videos. I just think "liking ggg" does not make one automatically credible same as "not liking ggg" doesn't make someone uneducated or not a credible boxing fan.

Correction* Bowe, Foreman, Morrison and Mercer made the WBO title legit in the 90's. No dis*****g it's legitimacy in 2004. None at all.
