Luis Ortiz was universally recognized as the most dangerous and avoided HW and Wilder stopped him in an epic fight. Now he's a bum and old. There's no denying Wilder is legit. GTFO, you have to give credit when it's due otherwise you're just a ****** hater.
Except you are doing revisions yourself .

      1 . Ortiz was offered a Whyte fight in 2016 .

2 . Ortiz was guaranteed Joshua as a second mandatory and Hearn went as far as to offer Ortiz a stand by fight in the U.K to wait for Joshua .

3 . Jennings wasted no time selecting Ortiz right after Klitchko .

4 . Who actually ducked/ avoided Ortiz based on his resume , he has Joyce calling him out now .

5 . Ortiz didnt even want to fight Derrick Rossey bc of a thumb injury in 2017....DERRICK ROSSEY !

Hes the " Boogeyman " though based on .....??????

Wilder only fought Ortiz after reports came out he was actually closer to 50 than 40 .

Its a sure top win but lets not pretend team Wilder doesn't look for advantage angles bc thats exactly what hes been doing since hooking up with Finkel .

listen, if you enjoy 38 jabs in a row followed by a right hand, then the lean forward and rest your weight on your opponent type of style, then so be it. If you enjoy panicky fighters who will not engage while the opponent is punching, knock yourself out. As I said in other posts, Ortiz is better defensively all around than klitchko, he's a better counter puncher, better combination puncher, and especially against the older worn down version that fury and Joshua fought. Not sure who you're calling a youngin but based on your lack of understanding of what a boxing technician entails, I'm positive that I have more boxing knowledge and experience (in and out of the ring) than you do young buck.

Word. Folks that don't know Fury like British boxing fans do are in for a wild ride. He's fkn relentless to the point that he's definitely unhinged. Deontay can trash talk a little bit himself, but his talk gets way too serious too quickly and he gets hot easily. He'll get verbally ragdolled by Fury in the 3 - 4 month build up. He'll probably regret asking Fury to fight when he realises how genuinely cuckoo he actually is.

Fury is much smarter of a man then Wilder, he knows how to push them buttons.

Klitchko vs Ortiz Skill sets .

                Jab . Klitchko

                Right Hand . Klitchko

                Left Hook . Klitchko

                Upper cut . Ortiz

                Body Punching . Ortiz

                Speed . Klitchko

                Accuracy . Even

                Power . Klitchko

                Defence . Klitchko

Footwork . Even ( Not including the Klitchko who fought Joshua who displayed excellent footwork )

Harder guy to get to : The one who is 6'6 with 82 inch reach .

                More effective combo sequence :

Klitchkos One / Two jab straight right and Left hook off the jab or Ortiz triple probing jab / Straight predictable left walking in one line going forward ?

                Edge : Klitchko

Better Counter Punching : Ortiz bc Klitchko is not a counterpuncher , Ortiz best shots are when someone runs into them so unlike Klitchko who creates more openings far easier bc hes an aggressive offensive fighter from a distance making him able to coast in fights if he wishes to .

To claim Ortiz is the better fighter simply isnt true to anyone who understands boxing and when you add ring IQ to this its no comparison how Wlad systematically breaks down guys throughout his title reign .

I disagree with speed, defense, footwork, and I'm not even sure what category "harder guy to get to" means. Wouldn't that be defense? And again, I'm not saying that Ortiz is better legacy wise, I said he is a better skilled boxer, specifically as it relates to klitchko during the last 2 fights of his career.

Like i said anyone claiming Ortiz is the better fighter doesn't understand boxing , my stats show that !

No , defense ( ACTUAL ) defense is abilities to avoid shots at opposition range .

Harder guys to get to would be one able to make it more difficult to set up an offensive attack , that belongs to 6'6 Klitchko not Ortiz .

Klitchkos overwhelming size makes it harder to hit him on the inside , hes got very long reach ,power , speed with one of the best jabs ever so actually setting up shots in the first place is easier said then done .

Ortiz was better then the Klitchko who fought Fury .

The Klitchko however that fought Joshua was superior to Ortiz .

I know Fury and Wilder fans will argue that but thats a reality unless you dont know what your watching !

Not true in 40 fights he has fought one really good fighter, Ortiz and it was a life and death struggle.Stevirne the first time was decent. And Washington was alright but the other 37 were straight bums
