Because he did abide by USADA rules. USADA rules say IV use must be for legitimate medical purposes. If you unexpectedly need an IV, there is a process you go through to prove to USADA that the IV was for legitimate medical purposes. Mayweather went through that process and USADA agreed it was for legitimate medical purposes. So no, it wasn't a "banned IV." IV was legal, Floyd & Manny voluntarily agreed to stricter regulations that required that IV only be used for medical reasons, and USADA confirmed it was used for medical reasons. Everything was done by the rules.

Oh cut the sh@t. He got approved for an IV after the fight while Manny was denied a pain killer on fight night by NSAC for a shot that was already approved by USADA. That was all BS and bias and you know it.

Yeah Mosley is on video admitting he knowingly took banned substances. He was outed in the BALCO scandal, Victor Conte's organisation.

Yuriorkis Gamboa was also caught having HGH and other substances mailed to him around the time of his proposed match against Brandon Rios.

UK super bantamweight Kid Galahad is another who got caught and suspended.

Honestly, if testing in boxing was actually GOOD then the vast majority of top boxers would be on this list.

Innocent until proven guilty is a nice ideal, but it's an ignorant stance to take in my opinion since drug testing is far too easy to beat if you really want to. If you know what you're looking at, PED use is not too hard to spot, especially in these cases listed above.

Hard to take the list seriously when front and center is Mayweather with "Banned IV" listed, even though it was completely legal under the rules of Nevada at the time. When the first thing you see it a giant lie, seems like a waste of time to even read the rest.

Canelo's use of clenbuterol was cleared up via hair follicle testing which is far more revealing than any urine test...especially when LIVING in MEXICO...a country that literally uses clenbuterol in agriculture...and Canelo has never tested positive before/after despite using USADA multiple times.

You simply have no understanding of the role NAC plays and the role USADA plays.

NAC rules are what matter. Manny & Floyd voluntarily chose to hire USADA to hold them to a stricter standard. IV was legal under NAC, therefore whatever voluntary stricter standards Manny & Floyd agreed to have nothing to do with NAC. Manny & Floyd agreed IVs could only be used for medical reasons and USADA was hired to make that determination. They determined the IV was for legitimate purposes. End of story.

On the other hand, USADA can't give Manny permission for a shot banned by NAC. They don't over ride NAC rules. Manny his his alleged injury from NAC, so they weren't going to allow a pain killer right before the fight for a supposed injury they'd never been told about before.

Pretty straight forward.

It's not straight towards no matter that your bias is towards Floyd. An IV that happened BEFORE a fight should never be approved AFTER a fight you moron. There's no way to even verify what was in the fkn IV. How dumb is that. This was a blatant rule bend for Floyd, no two ways about it.
