How did demanding for Thurman work out for him? See he finally stopped saying his name because he realized it pointless. Arum has already made it clearly the fight is not happening anytime soon. Even Crawford knows this, which why he himself has not straight out said he wants Spence next. Both fighters know this is their legacy fight, and are going to milk it till all the belts are on the line, because both know the other is not going to lose until they run into each other late next year, early 2020.

These two fights are entirely different. Rigo could have fought Loma at 126,but he priced himself out and ducked. When he did fight Loma there was a 7 pound weight different on fight night. Most of Rigo fans thought he was going to school Loma. After he lost his fans either abandoned him or made excuses for him.

Spence will be bigger, stronger and a solid favorite even by the most dedicated Garcia fans. When Mikey loses even his own fans will expect it and give him credit for stepping up two classes. Spence will not really have much to gain beating him, it’s pretty much a foregone conclusion. Similar to Canelo vs Khan.
