Spence and Crawford has stated as BLACK MEN they will NOT turn themselves into Fools to appeal to non-black fans! Floyd was the exception NOT the rule! Everything is cyclical Floyd's model has run its course. People gravitate to Spence because he is NOT like Floyd. I don't think it is a coincident the the black aggressive knockout artist is back since Floyd is no longer defining what a black fighter should be!

If Spence vs Garcia happens this year that would be his THIRD fight this year, name another fighter that's on Spence's level that has fought that many times this year?

Golovkin didn't draw a dime before Canelo. Even now, casuals can't name a single fight other than Canelo - it's Canelo they know.

Pacquiao sold because of who he fought, not by himself.

Mayweather made more money on the Berto fight nobody wanted to see than Manny did for any of his fights after MayPac. That's marketing.

I've noticed as well that trash talking fighters in the vein of Mayweather seem to have mostly gone out of fashion. Maybe that's a good thing.

I think Spence is a great fighter but I wish he'd be more proactive pursuing the top names. His fights since beating Brook have been mismatches and he seems to have been content with them. I'm disappointed that he seems so keen on fighting Mikey Garcia, that fight's a physical mismatch too. When asked about the prospect of fighting Crawford his response for that so far has been "maybe later." (To be fair Crawford doesn't seem super keen on it either atm.) Right now he needs to forget Mikey and target the Garcia / Porter winner if he wants to keep the momentum up on his career.

Nah. It's pretty lame that every black fighter has to act like a jerk or a stumble-bum idiot to get other people to support him.
Floyd Mayweather JR has done good things, but for the most part he's not a good dude, and people that claimed to hate him went out and bought his fights. Same with Adrien Broner with views.
Spence,Crawford are relatively trouble free and are family men and people complain about their personalities, it's weird.

The weirdest part about this the people who will argue this point against me are other ********** who should know that prejudice exist. Pacquiao,Kovalev, Golovkin, Lomachenko,Provodnikov at his peak hardly spoke a lick of english and I know for a fact people didn't read their interviews in their native tongue and for the most part they had bland personalities.

I can see why Errol uses this persona because he seems genuine.
Cut to Crawford and it just seems fake.

And Mayweather didn't become a big star because of who he fought? So fighting De La Hoya didn't help to make Mayweather a star huh? He did it all himself?

You're just proving my point: that the one thing Errol Spence needs to become bigger is OPPONENTS, top opponents who are willing to fight him. Not arrogant, loud mouth trash talking.

Pacquiao fights sold because it was PACQUIAO's name on the banner. He and Mayweather were the biggest stars in the sport and he earned that position simply from his performances in the ring, not his performances on the mic outside of it.
And Golovkin was headlining HBO cards and making good money long before he ever fought Canelo. But of course the Canelo fight made him bigger, because you know what helps in boxing? Fighting top opponents. And that's all Errol Spence needs.

Spence nor Crawford is from the hood! play boxing with your friend and standing up for yourself doesn't make you hood!

Spence has the right blue print: Appeal to the neglected AMERICAN boxing fan!

If Crawford stays with Top Rank he will be another Timothy Bradley no 147 legacy to speak of!

Floyd was the exception NOT the rule!

Is biggest problem is that he doesn't fight enough.
