It will tell in the fight if his physique change was intentional or unintentional because of the testing.
Fighters tend to start lifting weights and doing strength training when they move up in weight and that's probably what Canelo did for the first fight, he should now work on stamina, workrate and just have a good gameplan, work on reflexes and footwork too.
We'll see in the fight, but hopefully if he wins people wouldn't make excuses about PEDs as both have been tested for a very long time now

I think there was right and wrong tactics employed by both fighters in the first fight. The better tactician is winning the rematch i hope its a great fight with a clear definitive winner may the best man win. Good luck to both warriors.

No one takes clen to bulk.
If he's leaner, it's because his team wants him to address the problem from the first fight; not enough output.
That said, it could just be them focusing on speed and agility. We'll see how he performs on fight night and we'll see if it was the right choice.Last edited by SplitSecond; 08-10-2018, 04:12 AM.

It's stuff like this which stops me betting on the Nelo.
He's the betting underdog in this fight. I cleaned up on the original fight by betting the draw (trusty Golden Boy promotions lol) and will hopefully make another mint on this fight but if Nelo was doping for the first and clean now I worry about his punch resistance and ability to get GGG off of him. GGG clearly respected Nelo's power in the first which is why he rarely committed. If Nelo has lost significant power for the rematch it will be very detrimental.

Speed will be key

The majority of weight category athletes using it take it to assist in retaining muscle mass whilst increasing the effects of a weight loss diet and training regime.
