Fury likes to compare himself to Ali.

makes sense, Ali took two tune ups after his 2 year suspension before fighting Joe Frazier to unify the lineal championship with the world championship...

My apologies for the mischaracterization; let's call it "whining" instead. Again, why are you whining about the WBC president being welcome to the fight and taking note of the direction of one of his organization's champions? Sky Sports reached out to Sulaiman for an interview, Sulaiman responded. There's nothing to cry about, and he isn't obligated to speak in absolutes.
They whining cuz Aj wont get that shot at Fury to delay the D.Wilder fight & they know that when D.Wilder beats Fury Aj gon look more like a b1tch after RUNNING away from 50million.

And when Wilder knocks out Tyson Furry and everyone will claim Furry wasn't ready yet, when everyone was saying Wilder will duck Furry, then Wilder still won't be able to get a fight against Joshua until December 2019 and Wilder will fight Whyte and knock him out to, then you will be saying Wilder is ducking a rematch against Ortiz.

Watch, you can book it and this train cycle will keep happening until Wilder fights Joshua and then everyone will shut their mouth and eat crow.
Its ALL about trying to keep D.Wilder as far away as possible from Aj. just like they are doing with lil g keeping him away from Jermall….these dudes here are #Twinkies!

Fury is a pure boxer and wilder can’t box for s**t

If fury comes in shape you better believe he will box rings around him

My only concern is fury’s cardio but I wouldn’t bet against him that’s for sure . It’s gonna be annoying as hell if fury boxes wilders head off and takes away his gravy fight

For me and plenty others it's really the only title that matters. I don't care about the WBO, WBC, IBF, WBA, NBA, IBO, and any other belt. Just have keep the lineal title with the ring rankings and drop the rest. Floyd built his career off not even having and defending titles. But we all knew he was the best and lineal champion. Like many others. The Belts are corrupt and greedy.

Ring magazine has been awarding the title for decades. In the old days you had to be ranked in the top 3 in your respective division and defeat another top 3 ranked fighter in the same division. Since GBP purchased Ring, the rules have been relaxed, now you have to be in the top 5 and defeat a top 5 fighter. Under the old rules Fury would no longer be the lineal champ though, he would have been stripped for not defending against a ranked fighter in his division a long time ago.
The Ring Magazine is literally owned by a Promoter, and even stopped their own lineage for nearly a decade, then arbitrarily restarted it with their own hand picked champs. They literally did exactly what you said they don't do.

In fact, there's MANY different versions of a Lineal Champ - The Ring is only one of them. We are so far removed from this "title" having credibility, it's insane how people still bring it up.

If you're going to try and give a history lesson, don't destroy your own argument at the same time.

Had this conversation before, they are the same look it up.
