Silver Championship. In its discretion, on such terms and conditions as it may impose, the WBC may designate or order and award WBC Silver Championships of the World in each weight division. The WBC Silver Championship is a world title superior to all WBC championships except the World or Diamond Championships. The WBC may designate the challengers for a Silver Championship from among any Qualified Challengers. A Silver Champion must comply with all defense and other obligations applicable to WBC World Champions hereunder as the WBC shall order in its discretion. A Silver Champion shall not be a mandatory contender for the WBC World Championship absent winning a final elimination bout for the World title, unless a written exception has been approved by a majority vote of the WBC Board of Governors in its sole discretion.

Nowhere in the WBC rules is the Silver title mentioned as the interim championship, nor is it a route to become the mandatory challenger.

If you didn't make ******ed posts on a consistent basis, I may have believed you, but alas...

It's crazy that Fury brings the lineal shti to the table when he's had one pisspoor fight in 2 years or whatever it is.
As much as I enjoy Fury's nutty banter, he's actually devalued the whole legend of the lineal champ. I think NO WAY he beats Wilder after a single tune-up against Seferi. It's not happening.

O.K but did you even read what you posted ?

" unless a written exception has been approved by a majority vote of the WBC Board of Governors in its sole discretion. "

This was not necessary as no final eliminator was placed on Whyte bc Breazeale had already fought a final eliminator against Molina bc he took Stivernes place . How many eliminator fights did Ortiz fight ?

Whyte was promised a title shot by Sulaiman which is why Hearn demanded an explanation , which he got but then Ortiz showed up all of a sudden ?

The WBC rules clearly state it was created as an interm title but you decided not to find it either ? lol

You've yet to present any evidence for these garbage points you're making. You're all over the place buddy

Whyte-Ortiz was ordered for the #2 mandatory slot. Whether or not you disagree with that means nothing. Whyte did not take the fight that would've secured his position as a mandatory, by rule.

I agree , he's entertaining outside the ring but he just did a hit and run on Wlad and ducked the rematch

You'd have to think Wilder is going to catch him at some stage but Fury actually looks significantly improved in training vid from his last fight and he looks quite strong too and has some speed.
I feel like he can't throw a good long right hand though, he spins and does cuffing shots and doesn't use his reach properly

Huge balls on Fury if this fight happens though and it will be epic if he wins

Are people still ****ing that lineal drum? Geez. It's a completely hypothetical "title" that very few people care about. There's not even a consensus on it.

Being "lineal champ" does not move the needle, at all.

I actually think a sharp Fury could frustrate and outbox Wilder with his longer reach and far better footwork but I'd really like to see Tyson put in a proper tune-up first. Tyson's right hand is a strange one but I think it has something to do with him always punching down on that side to the usually much smaller opponents, so he rarely gets a chance to throw a level arm. That's my dubious theory, anyway. That jab, he can just flick it out from his waist all night long and it's so damn hard to get past. Klitschko looked dispirited. Maybe Wilder will do as well.
But those press conferences... gonna be gold. Pure trash-talking heaven.
