Why are you whinging about it? The sanctioning body has to be notified if Wilder is taking this fight, as they must SANCTION it. It also stands to reason that they care about the actions of their champions.

If by a very slim chance Whyte beat Ortiz and Wilder didn't fight him, he would've devalued Wilder's best win and proved that Wilder doesn't keep his word, which would actually give weight to the claim that Wilder is ducking.
