Parker and the rest though, bunch of unathletic bums. It's like the only people who want to be HW boxers these days are fat guys who when they hit 20 something years old decide to pick up a pair of boxing gloves to lose some weight and they can't play any other sport
I can't speak for the world, but in the U.S., if you're 6'0" or taller, 230lbs. or larger, and you're a top level athlete, you play football or basketball! In the Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton, etc., the HW Champ made a lot more than the top NFL or NBA athlete! Now the top NFL and NBA players make substantially more than HW fighters (AJ might be the exception)! Football and Basketball dominate on the youth level! Wilder didn't even start boxing until 19, because he was pursuing a football career! Until that fighter money increases, things will stay the same!

I believe Wilder v Fury happens end of the year if it doesn't they will look like complete clowns so I believe it happens.

The heavyweight division is very poor at the moment and all top heavyweights wouldn't be champions in any other era in fact its even poorer than 1980 - 86 when you had champions like Page,Tubbs,Witherspoon,Tate,Weaver and Dokes etc. Joshua, Wilder and Fury are competing at the weakest time in any heavyweight era and Joshua and Wilder are making their fight difficult to put together why because of money where there's enough for them each to become very wealthy in just that fight.

How does that stop Wilder from signing this contract?

The point is, your original post was about how Joshua was going to duck and dive Wilder for the foreseeable future -fighting Whyte, then fighting Miller and all the while avoiding Wilder.

Wilder could bind them to the contract by just signing it. So your point is pretty much moot.

Why would Wilder sign a deal for a $15M flat fee, when he has investors telling him he could make as much as $50M fighting the same guy? And willing to put their money behind it.

Please refresh my memory (send a link). I can't recall Miller doing to Whyte, what he just did to Pulev. I'm not questioning you, I just have no memory of that.

Maybe flat fee bcs DW's been building his profile and price by running a smear campaign against Hearn/AJ.
I definitely wouldn't give him a purse split just bcs of bad mouthing. Cuz what DW and his team are doing is not just an ordinary trash talk.
That's why flat fee-for running his mouth.
