Parker and the rest though, bunch of unathletic bums. It's like the only people who want to be HW boxers these days are fat guys who when they hit 20 something years old decide to pick up a pair of boxing gloves to lose some weight and they can't play any other sport
I don't think you can really say that Klitschko's era was better than today's on the basis that today's HW fighters are unathletic. Cast your mind back to the title challengers that Klitschko came up against, THAT was a field of unathletic fighters.

I agree, today's HW scene isn't great, we all know that, but we've got more top guys

    Joshua
    Wilder
    Ortiz
    Fury

and the fighters in the second wave seem largely better than those from a few years ago - I was disappointed with Parker last time out, but Whyte proved to be better than I thought.

I actually think that a prime Klitschko beats all of the guys from today's era, but there would have been some good fights in there.

Alternatively, Wilder could sign the contract for April 2019 and they could fight then.

        Bye Bye Joshua

Finally! Boxing fans are seeing what a fake Joshua is. He has milked his win over an already beat 41 year old EXCHAMPION for long enough. Put up or shut up! I figure Joshua will stay in England for the rest of his career fighting cherry picked opponents and only when Hearn and the rest of his management group can get the opponent to sign a rematch clause and then still fight in venues where the judges, referee and every physical facet from the ring size to the gloves can be dictated. I wouldn't be surprised if Hearn had a make-up artist on staff for pretty boy Joshua so he can look good for each of his carefully controlled boxing events. Meanwhile the heavyweight division has moved on and real fighters are once again fighting each other.

One of the fights planned for Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn’s first American-based DAZN card on Oct. 6 in Chicago is, on paper, a disgraceful mismatch. Multiple sources told ESPN that terms have been agreed to for heavyweight contender Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller (21-0-1, 18 KOs), 30, of Brooklyn, New York, to face the long-faded Tomasz Adamek (53-5, 31 KOs), 41, who has not been a serious factor since 2012. But because Adamek, a former light heavyweight and cruiserweight world titleholder, is a hugely popular Polish fighter and the card is in Polish-heavy Chicago he is being fed to Miller, who is on the verge of a world title fight. Some close to Hearn have voiced their concerns over how much of a gross mismatch the fight is.

I feel sorry for Big Baby because his career is stuck in neutral! He should at least have gotten a shot at Whyte by now!

Totally unnecessary too! If they wanted a polish-born fighter, Adam Kownacki would've been a much better choice! Kownacki and Miller both fight out of Brooklyn! Kownacki has a fight coming up vs. Charles Martin in Brooklyn on September 8th! Big Baby is going to Chicago in October! Should've been Big Baby vs. Kownacki in Brooklyn in November! Miller vs. Kownacki would've been a great undercard for Jacobs vs. Derevyanchenko! 4 Brooklyn fighters, fighting on one night...IN BROOKLYN!

I don't understand why that fight wasn't made? Pulev would've been better than Adamek! I assume Hearn or DAZN wasn't onboard with that fight! That's twice that a MatchRoom fighter has dissed Pulev. Whyte pulled out after Hearn lost the purse bid, and Miller pulled out of an IBF eliminator!
