I totally agree I said that in another post on here we know he is not getting 50 but I’m sure he will take 40 but a flat fee of 15mil nah Hearn knows wat the hell he is doing. After that fight hell aj could retire will wilder still boxing to retire. To hell with that

AJ's, or rather his team's, behaviour has been woeful during the whole negotiation. The $50m gaff was ridiculous.

But I'm not buying the argument that AJ won't fight Wilder under any conditions because Wilder could just take the deal and fight him for $15m (which isn't an insignificant amount of money). Granted, it probably represents a small (maybe a very small) percentage of the overall pot, but Wilder's upside would be enormous if he beat Joshua, which I think he does at this point in time. His chances in the fight only decrease with time because Joshua is entering his prime and Wilder is gradually leaving his.
Reads like sound reasoning, seems like an un-biased opinion. The reality is that's not and never has been how boxing works. You would be hard pressed to find an undefeated champion who accepted a flat fee in a major unification bout. As a matter of fact I can state unequivocally that you won't. Flat fee offers are smoke and mirrors. It's for the purposes of looking like you're genuinely trying to make a fight, in this case acceptance of such a low ball offer out weighs the desire to not take the fight. It's what we like to call fishing. Wilder tried to call Hearns bluff by accepting the offer, but By Hearns own admission, he didn't send an appeasing contract. Terms that were agreed to in principle, were not included in the contract that was sent to Wilder. The contract that Hearn said he would resend with AJ's singnature was another lie, he actually sent back the same contract with only the April date and venue added, terms still missing, and AJ's signature still not on the contract. Now Wilder is set to make huge money against Fury, which if he wins would guarantee him more following and more money against AJ. At the end of the day, he made the right call, and the fans still get a major heavyweight clash. Why would he sign that contract?

AJ reneged on his public demand for fifty-million. And AJ's a coward until he makes good and fights Wilder (regardless if he wins or loses). Your boy, AJ, publicly demanded fifty-million to fight Wilder, and once that demand was met (and confirmed), AJ reneged. Those are the facts. And it's terrible for boxing. Name any other fighter in the history of boxing who demanded fifty-million dollars to fight an opponent and then reneged. You can't. AJ alone is the fifty-million dollar coward. I imagine that Wilder will be having the laugh at AJ's expense for years to come over that fifty-million dollar demand and refusal to honor it. I know that I would.
          What are you talking about?

You said Wilder has people telling him he could earn 50mil.
The deal Wilder stated in his public video was 50 mil for AJ and 50/50 on what's left over. No contract or meeting was given unless AJ agreed publicly which he didn't so that debunks this "AJ turned down a deal with 30 mil rematch" as no one saw the contract and even Wilder hasn't been going round saying this.
Yeah it was a ***** move not taking the 50mil I'll admit that any day.

Wilder said it's not about the money its about the legacy and won't accept 5 times his highest pay for a chance to become the undisputed heavy weight champion of the world. Your guys full of sh#t and acts like a *****, he's like I want 50/50 after what he's been put through. What's he been put through to make him cry so much.

More importantly when they eventually fight, if AJ turns up to do damage he'll put Wilder away in the third.

$50 million or £50 million guaranteed plus % on PPV and the rest. Lets see if the money was ever there when we see Wilder's and Fury's fee's and percentages for their big fight. Surely at worse they get £25 million each and come on Wilder has got to be getting more then £15 million. So we shall see if all this money is there.

On another point good fight for Wilder and they could even do a rematch. Why is he fighting Fury, well he has to start fighting good opponents (due to his big mouth and previous fights, Ortiz aside) and did not fancy fighting Breazeale. So if you are going to lose fight Fury and make some money. SEE my first point.
