Either you are the world's worst driver (i'm considering that possibility) or have never jet skied before.
People fall off jet skis all the time, you can't hardly spend a weekend riding one without several falls. It is very unusual (or should be) to have a serious enough car accident that someone is injured. The former usually results with someone taking an ibuprofen, the latter with a police report, insurance claims and lawyers.
