It is irrelevant how or when the original injury occurred. I played baseball for years with a slight meniscus tear (don't know for sure when it happened) right up until one day when I could not. That is how most athletic injuries are, they go from manageable chronic conditions to unmanageable ones literally overnight or even in an instant.

Pac had his shoulder examined and repaired by the same surgeon who examined and performed surgery on Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady among others. That IS a well documented injury.
