There are two reasons to give a guy a fight... the first and most obvious is that the person has put together a string of Victories over top-notch competition and the logical progression is for you two to fight as top contenders. The second is because it will be a good scrap that you wants to give to your fans. although Ortiz has not put together a string of Victories over other top contenders he definitely would present a good scrap because he clearly appears to be a skilled boxer with power.

    • I heard his daughter is suffering from illness! Now I hope Joshua fights him just so he can get a great payday.

      • Joshua isn't even entertaining a fight with Ortiz until 2 years from now. You'd think the only unified hw champ would jump at the opportunity to fight a 40 year old coming off of a knockout loss haha

If only you people realised how pathetic you all are it could save us all the time of having to reply to all your absolute ****.
Its kind of hard to prove yourself when you don't get the opportunity. Whyte wanted nothing to do with Ortiz, or he would have fought him instead of Parker. Joshua wanted nothing to do with Ortiz, or he would have fought him instead of Breazeale, Takam, Molina, Gary Cornish, Kevin Johnson, Raphael Zumbano, etc, etc, etc.

Probably bout as much as Povetkin or Takam.

Tough ****. If you are too damn sensitive and don't like to hear the truth, don't read what I write. Butt hurt AJ fans are about as bad as *******s.

No later than a year from the Breazeale fight since Breazeale is mando.

                • You can forget that dream Ortiz. Joshua wouldn't fight you if you were on your death bed.

Expecting him to fight Ortiz as well is asking for way too much. Ortiz had his chance against Wilder. Now let Whyte have his chance.
Whyte had his chance and got knocked out. A fight between him and Ortiz establishes a clear #3 in the division.

Hearn has already given Ortiz a chance and he blew it. Why would it be any different now? Ortiz hasn't all of a sudden become better.

North American and Caribbean fighters? What the hell are you talking about now?

Whyte and Joshua are fighting much better fighters than Miller, so why would they be scared of him? If they fight one guy, you're on here like a mad man claiming they're ducking another. I get it, you have a biased agenda to smear them no matter what. Lunatic.
Then why don't Eddie Hearn set up a fight between Dillian Whyte or Dereck Chisora vs Jarrell Miller in a title elimination bout in Great Brtitain in order to determine who will fight Anthony Joshua next for the World championship titles?
