These British fan boys are so petrified of Luis Ortiz. Why don't Matchroom Boxing give King Kong another chance by signing him to a real contract so he could fight in their Heavyweight tournaments and not on some fight by fight basis? Let him fight some of good British heavyweights on its talent roster in order for him to get his title shot.

I noticed that Eddie Hearn never allows any of his North American or Caribbean born Heavyweight fighters to compete in these tournaments just the Brits. To this day; Jarrell Miller has yet to have fought in Great Britain against a top British fighter contender. Is he a threat to them to?

Hearn has already given Ortiz a chance and he blew it. Why would it be any different now? Ortiz hasn't all of a sudden become better.

How does speculation on what certain fans would say make for good boxing conversation. Who gives a fig. Isnt it about the actual match ups.

Ortiz is a unicorn in the heavyweight division because he is a southpaw with boxing skills and power. Why is it that so called boxing fans make every excuse in the book to not have him match up against the other top 10 guys.

Seems like some of you guys are more concerned with coming on a comment thread and bragging than actually seeing good fights.

So who do you suppose Ortiz Fight? It can't be Joshua because he's fighting his mandatory. And it can't be Whyte because he's earned himself a shot at a title. Expecting him to fight Ortiz as well is asking for way too much. Ortiz had his chance against Wilder. Now let Whyte have his chance.

Joshua will stay away from Ortiz, guaranteed. It's no coincidence that Ortiz has disappeared from all rankings except for WBC, the belt Wilder holds. It must be costing Hearn a pretty penny to assure that he doesn't get a shot at Joshua.

What would that prove? Takam just got his ass kicked by gatekeeper Chisora. Chisora, Parker, and Whyte are all about the same level, which is a level below Ortiz.

They have proven more than Ortiz. So this inflated opinion of Ortiz is nothing but bluster. But I see why you want to inflate Ortiz, because it makes Wilder look better.

The idea that Joshua/Hearn are avoiding Luis Ortiz is really quite silly. What does Ortiz bring to the table? His only notable win came in beating Bryant Jennings in 2015. Jennings, who'd already been beaten by Klitschko, is no longer rated. On the basis of that win Hearn started promoting him with the idea of him as a future Joshua opponent. But Ortiz stunk the place out against Malik Scott and Dave Allen, so Hearn let him go. Five months ago he challenged a seriously underweight Deontay Wilder and got dropped three times and stopped in 10. He's 39-years-old and has previously failed a drugs test. Joshua is avoiding no-one. His programme is his mandatory against Povetkin, then Wilder (if Wilder signs the contract), then either Miller or Whyte, then Tyson Fury or Usyk - with a mandatory or two thrown in. There just isn't room for Ortiz unless he beats one of the names on this list.

They don't like common sense around here. They will come after you with their madness. But yes, this is pretty much how it is.

Maybe proclaiming an art repeated lie makes people feel better to attempt to discredit a fighter? Hell I don’t know. What I do know is had Irtiz landed that same left on AJ it’d be lights out. AJ knows it as does used car salesman Hearn. Jim Gray was 100% spot on. No top HW will fight him because it’d ruin their paydays. Im guessing you don't know exactly what you're responding to. I'm not the one questioning his age, nor am I the one saying Johnson shouldn't fight Ortiz because of his age (while Johnson fights someone 6 months younger than Luis)
