To be 49 years old. He looked like the same old King Kong to me. Big strong and powerful. I didn't see any lasting damaging effects from the Wilder knockout at all. I would love to see him fight either Joshua, Povetkin or Whyte next.

Jim Gray said one thing during his interview with Ortiz that I agree with. He basically said he doesn’t believe Wilder will fight Ortiz again. He doesn’t believe Joshua will fight him at all. Ortiz may retire without another title shot unless someone beats Joshua & Wilder. He is fighting for money now basically at 39. And he only got around $200k for this fight. Sucks, but he had his title shot w/Wilder.

Ortiz was AJ's WBA mando. If he hadn't decided to fight Wilder instead of waiting for his shot, he would be where Povetkin is now. He only got paid $500k for Wilder. That's got to be the worst business decision any boxer ever made.
