Also if someone is fighting you dirty, you fight dirty back, you don't look to the ref to save you. Not just Kovalev, I hate when anybody does that.

he won the fight by punching kovalev in the balls and you wanna make out it was a clean fight? I watched a rerun with casuals and they just assumed ward had been DQ'd when it got waved off. Thats the natural assumpton when you start aiming for someones balls.

If you're onabout the second fight then yes you was watching a totally different fight because ward was schooling him had wobbled him earlier maybe in the same round as the stoppage and was just outboxing him all round and kovalev had already turned his back and was looking for a way out, he got the definition of getting broke down and mentally defeated

uhhh sure thing buddy. have you ever seen his fights? they are all terrible. if hes fighting someone who he views as a threat he just blatantly cheats nonstop. sure if hes fighting a brand or paul smith he will box cleanly but still not anything super exciting.

If he won the first fight (I had Ward winning by 1 point) than why do we act like the rematch didn't happen?
Ward may have hit Kovalev low but his trunks are high, even then I don't care. If someone is hitting you low you hit them back.
I hate when Ward headbutts though, Headbutts is the worst thing ever so I don't approve of that but Ward haden't done that in ages.

Using the tactics Ward does is to test where someones heart is at, that's pretty much what it all is. If you don't sully him back and looks at the ref in most veteran fighters mind that means it's getting to them and to continue with it.
