Canelo was against the ropes most of the fight because he was being cut off.

More like the only time GGG could hit him was when Canelo willingly went to the ropes.

But surely he could have suggested better advice for Gassiev than simply "go forward more and throw more punches?"

I'm roasting his trainer. Not the young finalist.
His trainer is not a magician. Usyk is an extremely good boxer with great background and experience. Losing to him in tournament final is not a failure but an achievement for a 24 year old.

kind of dumb to willingly get hit. he was being dominated by the jab in the center of the ring so he went to the ropes to try and lure ggg in and get off counters. if ggg was smarter he would have just kept jabbing at canelo instead of falling in but he wants big drama show or something dumb

All i have to say is that he was trash in this fight.

He kept talking **** to Gassiev and giving no real technical advice. Gassiev should go back to his old trainer
