Agreed... Not saying Usyk could unify the HW division... just saying that of all the "notorious" up there, Wilder is the most "reachable"...Simple weight vs skill set math... I don't even believe Usyk himself thinks he stands a chance against the "skilled" 240 - 260 guys...Comment

Wilder lack of everything technical would expose him so much against "tonight" Usyk that it wouldn't even be funny... I agree with Parker... Whyte at 260 might be pushing it a 'bit doe... Hughie Fury anyone ? I'd buy that as an appetizer over Bellew any time...Comment

He'd do the same with Wilder... Hell I don't think Wilder would catch "tonight" Usyk as much as Gassiev did ...Comment

I forgot to add Tyson Fury. Anything below T. Fury, Wilder, and AJ I think he can beat. Hell, I think Gassiev will beat Hughie and Whyte.Comment

There is no way this is Gassiev at his best. This was apparently a clinic (reading about it, haven't seen it) but Gassiev is a great fighter with skills. Too big a moment? Too tight?
Usyk is a man, a talented fighter with no weakness at 200. He moves smoother, punches clean, and can fight at angles. He isn't heavy handed and does not have one punch power, but he can hurt his opponents.
Just sounds like he was kicking it on all cylinders today.Comment

Papachenko is Loma's dad and he was Ukrainian London Olympics Team trainer setting his imprint on Loma, Usyk, Gvozdyk, Berynchyk and rest.
Gopak is Ukrainian traditional dance with intricate martial-like legwork and angle movement.
Before boxing Papachenko forced Loma to learn traditional dancing and started teaching him boxing only when Loma was "ready" after some 3 years of dancing classes.
One of peculiar moves in Ukrainian dances is "popping-up" like a fishing float out of water at strange angles and in weird rhythm. Watch their fights closer and you'll get what i mean.Comment

Joshua, Wilder, Ortiz? Those three end Usyk's night ugly. I think Parker is a lean over Usyk simply on skills and size, but I think Usyk could get him on a good night.
Below that line a motivated Usyk can rack up some wins, but he better be respectful of how much more powerful those punches can be one division up.Comment

I think Gassiev would stand a better "puncher" chance against bigger guys than Usyk... But at the end of the day the HW task would be a hard technical way for both guys to overcome the weight differential vs Much-Bigger-and-also-Skilled HW... Wilder, on the other hand, is vulnerable to both, specially Usyk IMO...Comment

I like Wilder’s chances vs Joshua better than against Usyk. There isn’t anybody Wilder can’t knock out if he catches them. I don’t think Wilder catches Usyk. That said, I don’t like Usyk’s chances against Joshua much at all.Comment
