I have little interest in the heavier divisions, but I watched the Joshua vs Klitschko. AJ's name being mentioned often in this board made me watch it. And so Joshua beat Klitschko in a fully-packed festive arena. And that's where Wilder's intense interest on AJ started. It didn't start in AJ's previous fights prior to Klitschko. It all started when AJ beat the veteran fighter. You have to wonder why it was Klitschko that triggered Wilder's intense focus on AJ.

I know flat fee offers always leave a sour taste, I hate them as well, but $15mill is an insane amount of money for Wilder based on previous purses.

That slimy pimp Al Harlem Haymon Wilder's manager would take $5 million for his ****** management fee off the top. Then Wilders team would take another few million as fees and the USA Government would take half of the $15 million off the top in their cut. $15 million isn't what it used to be. And there is state tax fees and UK tax fees.
