  • He could become the biggest fighter in boxing and chooses to bypass Wilder because “it’s his career”. ****en coward. Boxing doesn’t need him and his young ass gates. He won’t be as big as Canelo if Canelo beats GG. His low gates is why they are greedy. He was never a true A side fighter. He’s not even the ****en champion with his bull**** trinkets, lmao.

Are you suggesting that Wilder, the WBC champ should have ignored the WBC eliminator order and offered Povetkin a fight that likely wouldn't have happened anyway because Povetkin tested positive for ostarine?
So Wilder could have offered to fight Povetkin as a voluntary as soon as the WBC lifted his suspension, which is what he did with Ortiz. That was before Povetkin got popped for ostarine, remember.

And, unlike Povetkin at that point, Ortiz was already a proven steroid cheat when Wilder gave him another shot. He got stripped of the WBA interim for failing the post fight PED test.

This website misleads, it’s been proven to be anti Joshua and pro wilder despite the coward acts of wilder

Fake news alt, time for you to go
Wow man, it was a direct quote from AJ himself.

        Yeah it’s shocking huh?

But no matter the facts I don’t believe you will accept the truth.

Denial is not just a river in Egypt, lol

On topic this is a really ****** comment from Joshua, he is clearly frustrated by the negotiations but needs to choose his wording carefully as these comments will backfire on him. I can see why people could suggest he doesnt want the fight after these comments. Not that I think AJ is afraid of Wilder or thinks he cant win, more to do with the boxing politics.
As a rule I believe fans support fighters from their own countries first. There are exceptions of course like Manny Pacquaio. In the instance of Joshua fighting Wilder it is a strawman argument to say Americans are speaking out against Joshua because he is not an American. The criticism against AJ is that he and Hearn are obviously terrified about the prospect of AJ fighting Wilder. The article which is the basis of this thread makes it explicitly clear that Joshua does not want to fight Wilder and that he (despite previous claims) cares nothing about his fans and boxing fans in general

          • I guess I better go to the gym and get started.
Joshua going to keep ducking for a long time lol.
I never heard a boxer tell fans to go fight their rival because they don’t want to before.

I never said I was ‘on-board’, it’s a fight I want to see, a fight I know will happen, a fight I believe AJ, Hearn and Wilder want.

All I’m stating is that I get what’s going on.

If he said ‘people can’t tell me who to fight’ I don’t believe he is referring to fans preferences, but insiders and advisors who have recently been telling him to just take $50m. That’s why he linked it to not being concerned about the money.

Think about it, he’s in control, so many boxers before him have been ****** to the money and made ****** decisions, he’s saying it’s not about one big pay day....so all the ******s out there shout ‘he’s a coward, he’s a fraud blah blah....no idiots!

It’s because he and Hearn want to build DAZN and any contract led by the Wilder dinosaurs has to be on regular PPV or they can’t afford it. What the team are doing here is actually clever. They can probably fight three more times on DAZN (AJ is by far their biggest fighter). Then it has to be Wilder, that fight is at least two bouts contractually, it’s gonna bring a lot of subscribers. This then buys them more time to sign more fighters and build the platform. That’s what this is all about, building something other than a single fight.

Yeah okay, all the idiots then start up again, but it’ll never work, we Americans won’t let it happen. It’s called progress it’s gonna happen, the sport has to change, so whether it’s DAZN or someone else it will change.

Talking about progress, the only question is will Wilder get a fight with AJ before self-driving taxi’s are the norm, cos where’s he gonna get other opponents if that happens?!

You know the story of why Wilder showed up to terrorize Charlie Z., right? Charlie had said some very terrible things about Wilder's handicapped daughter and said them repeatedly. Deontay's intent was not to physically hurt Charlie Z, had it been his punches would have been thrown with deadly force and accuracy. This showed me the seriousness and character of Deontay Wilder. Think about it, Deontay who is from Alabama traveled to California and out of love for his daughter taught that creep Charlie Z. a lesson he'll never forget.

Why would he? The WBC had ordered the eliminator fight. That's like asking why Joshua didnt offer Wilder a fight after Takam. He COULD have. But just like Hearn decided, it didn't make sense to fight Wilder after Takam.

Again...how was a Povetkin fight going to clear a mandatory and make Wilder more money than he made for any other voluntary?

I’ve had 36 responses so I do my best to respond to all my fans, but I want to make it clear, no one can tell me when to reply and who to respond to, if they want to to see witty and smart arguments about AJ, they can do it themselves ;0)
