Comments Thread For: Wilder: Eddie Hearn is Not a Guy That You Can Trust

Hearn has fewer lawsuits against him than any other promoter in the game (0), and every fighter that's been with him says they should have been with him from the beginning.
Whilst finkel has been accused for fraud multiple times by other american heavyweights.Comment

Ask Floyd Mayweather why is it all about the money? Why does it always have to be about money? By AJ being the A side, holding all the cards and being so confident that he can defeat Wilder, then why don't he just agree to all of Deontay's terms just to get him in the ring and to prove to the world once and for all; Especially boxing fans that he is indeed the superior fighter and the baddest man on the planet? It makes very good business sense to me unless he is afraid and a coward.Comment

It will be interesting to see if he signs the contract, and if his fans defend it if he doesn't.
Life changing money and a chance at glory and everything AJ has single-handedly built. This could be the biggest amount of money a B-side has turned down in comparison to what they usually make, to fight the #1 in the division and become the undisputed.Comment

Soo why does Wilder want 50/50 if he doesn't care about the money? AJ has 12 sponsors has invested his fortune & here you are praying that he loses all his money by the time he retires HATER is what you are...You probably said the same thing about Floyd back then too smh you fans are crazyIt's more to boxing than just money. By the time Anthony Joshua retires all that money will be gone anyhow.
Boxing should also be about fans, honor, dignity, legacy, pride, patriotism and prestige. These accolades shall last forever and will a follow a fighter to his grave; Even unto death. While money would not.
So that is what Wilder is fighting for; He wants to be the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world while the other guy only cares about and is fighting for money. He doesn't give a good damn about the things I've mentioned above but only himself.Comment

No he didn't. He received an e-mail from Wilder and that was it.
They didn't send any proof, any terms and they didn't even want to meet + demanded an answer in 24 hours.
That was a pathetic move.Comment

Which promoter is in all fairness. Even Floyd Mayweather who has been a promoter for a minute is having **** thrown at his door. Lets not pretend that fighters haven’t spoke out about Shelley. However, Eddie has said a lot of nonsense that even I can’t defend. Having said that It was Winkel that went to the press and said We accept the deal. Am I right in saying that? Team Joshua didnt say Wilder accepted the deal. They made it common knowledge. Then after accepting the deal they say well we accepted but we don’t know the date or the location? That’s b#ll**** because if the fight was scheduled for next year would they have accepted? Off course not so what did they accept the deal on the basis of? Or the just accepted for the sake of accepting?
Deontay wants the fight bad I’m not questioning his motivation but his team are not as keen and why should they be. The offer is crap and they feel they are doing a disservice to him money wise by accepting so they were posturing. You know it deep down . The narrative is Joshua don’t want the fight. He has signed it. Yes the flat fee is an insult I agree but use it as motivation. F#ck Joshua up for the disrespect shown. 15 million is still money. Beat Joshua and you call the shots like Mayweather did with De la HoyaComment

Joshua has his own business. Why is he going to have no money left come retirement?
You are swallowing that BS from Wilder about prestige and legacy when he turned down $15m to fight AJ next.Comment
