Hearn himself stated he spoke with Espinoza regarding the date availability and showtime wanting to put it on PPV.

He also confirmed that the rights for AJ Vs Wilder goes to a purse with the highest bidder winning should his contract have been accepted. If showtimes PPV model provides more revenue for the event than DAZN paying for the rights to show it then he'd happily go with showtime . He also said if HBO offered more revenue then as the main promoter with neither fighter under a broadcaster contract then he would choose HBO if it created more money for the event.

He confirmed DAZN understood they'd have to bid for that fight the same as anyone else as Joshua at this current time isn't included in any DAZN / matchroom deal.

Anthony Johnson sure love fighting OLD former Soviet fighters! Disgraceful!
Cuba had close relationship with the former Soviet Union i bet you he will NOT fight an OLD Luis Ortiz!

It's a decent fight considering the lot around. Povetkin is a top guy considering that he's only lost once against Klitschko and by UD...

No, go and watch the fight to see it's a fact. You just don't want to believe it because you're a Parker fan boy who was made to cry after your hero went out like a little *****.

Is Parker going to be a little ***** against Whyte as well? Will he run again? Haha.

Povetkin is a much better fighter then Ortiz is. He's proven that at amateur and professional level.

Ortiz is a nobody, get over it.

And BTW, to the Povetkin haters... Wilder would NOT fight Whyte in England on a Joshua undercard. Too much of an out-of-control ego. Or, as his Wilderholic fans would say.... he didn't need Whyte. But Povetkin had no problem humbling himself to fight on Joshua's card. And now we see his next fight IS Joshua.

Wilder's biggest problem is Wilder. Lose the ****** swollen ego, and be a man for once. Be HUMBLE now and then. Always whining about Joshua this Joshua that.

Get these 2 fights out of the way, and have Joshua/Wilder next year... what isn't to like? Great news for the sport!

Yes, at this level, an L is always a distinct possibility. IMO though, Joshua has a better chance, simply because he has a better skill set than Wilder, and has fought better competition. But you're right, he has to take the fight very seriously. Actually, both fighters do.

I still don't see this fight going past four rounds. That's why I am boycotting it by not watching this mismatch.
Interesting. BTW, I think Joshua wins, but I also think Povetkin will have some wrinkles to serve AJ along the way. We'll find out in a couple months.

Sure, we all know this is his only cash cowzilla. That's why I say for him to be a bit more humble and appreciative.

Don't get me wrong. Sasha is a very lively opponent especially in the early rounds. However if he isn't allow to fight at short range on the inside, then the fight would basically turn into a virtual and boring stalemate because Joshua is a counter puncher and I just don't see him chasing and walking down a dangerous puncher like Povetkin across the ring who can hit.
