As for Wilder not ducking Wlad,,sorry wrong

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (33-0, 32KOs) is still very much a work in progress, says his co-manager Shelly Finkel. After last Saturday's world titl

That’s articles when Wilder was 33-0, read it bro, Shelly Finkel’s words will astound you. also why didn’t Wilder try to unify with Parker?

Also in regard to Al Haymon (who I’m a big fan off) I know he has backers with deep pockets, but notice how he has remained anonymous during these negotiations? it’s just Hearn and Finkel hyping,

If you sat Hearn and Haymon together in a room I have no doubts this fight would get made quickly, they done business many many times before.
Those were Shelly Finkel's words not Deontay's. Also, as far as Parker goes, he was in talks with Wilder about a possible unification bout with him.

As a matter of fact, Joseph even attended the Gerald Washington fight in order to negotiate a bout between himself and Deontay. However, after seeing what the "Bronze Bomber" did to Gerald Washington he and his team changed their minds. They went after Joshua for a unification instead.

Deontay is his own man. He is not a robot. He is the boss of his team and what he says goes. Therefore the bucks stops with him. That's why he went against the advice of his team to challenge Ortiz when it was a risky thing for him to do.

Moreover, that was why he was willing to take a Flat-fee, plus short money to fight Joshua on his home soil and country, in order to make this fight happen. It's because he wants to be the heavyweight undisputed champion of the world.

He is not fighting for the money. He is fighting for honor, dignity, pride and for the fans but most of all for his fellow country men, in order to bring the undisputed heavyweight championship back to America.

If you honestly believe that Wilder is not fighting for money and is doing this for patriotism and honor and for his ‘fans’ etc then you’ve fallen even further into this Wilder bs narrative plot he’s created then I originally realised.

Wilder doesn’t need to worry about upside and percentages seriously, he isn’t a ppv fighter and he’s a no name, literally, no one knows who he is the only thing he brings to the table is his belt...his problem? He needs to stop watching what AJ’s getting and concentrate on what he’s getting...which is 15mill that’s 4 times more than he’s ever earnt..that’s a fact and he calls it crackhead money 😂 if that’s crackhead money what does he class the money he was making before as then?

If Wilder could make that sort of money w/o AJ you’d have a point, but he can’t, AJ can make 20mill (and I mean £’s not $) fighting anyone.

Lastly as we’re going in circles here, you don’t judge fighters and what they say, you judge them on what they do, and what they’ve done, anyone can grab a phone and make an overly emotional video on insta or YouTube, look at who they’re fighting and who they have fought...Wilder will beat and convince anyone when it comes to hype and bs and smack talk or in other words first class acting.

I expect Joshua to get a late stoppage. Mandatory so has to be done but really hoping for Wilder and Joshua in 2019, enough is enough. Wilder should make an announcement for his own fight ASAP.

If AJ really wanted this fight to happen in September of this year it would have happened but he was too chicken and cowardly in order to do so. He was afraid of getting his asswhooped.

After Wilder agreed to all of his terms, conditions and asked for the necessary revisions to be made in the contract by the end of the week in order for him to sign it, Joshua and his team pulled a bait and switch on him by pulling Povetkin out of their ass. That was there plan all along but they are just too afraid of admitting it.

They wanted Wilder to sign a postdated contract for April of 2019 so they can prolong this fight for as long as they possibly can. That was both wrong, unethical and not negotiating in good faith.

Now for the April bout, if Joshua really wants the fight to happen and care enough for his fans, in order to give them the fight that they want to see, then he is going to have to make the necessary concessions and sacrifices this time. The same as Deontay Wilder did in the first phase of their contract talks or there will simply be no deal.

"Therefore the bucks stops with him. "

Apperently it stopped at 2.1 Million after 7 title defenses !

Would have liked to have seen the Wilder fight next, but Povetkin is a good opponent and it is a dangerous fight for Joshua. Should be interesting

Showtime were willing to put wilder Vs AJ as ppv should the golovkin fight not go ahead.

It now is going ahead so showtime won't put wilder AJ on PPV the week after the Canelo GGG PPV.

... and Hearn wanted to put it on DAZN (as he does with AJ vs Povetkin)... Hearn doesn't rely on the U.S. ppv money...
