Comments Thread For: Hearn: Deontay Wilder Should Get "Less" Money For April Date

Eddie Hearn, who promotes WBO, WBA, IBO, IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, is taking a big risk in stating that WBC champion Deontay Wilder should get less money for a proposed unification date of April 13 at Wembley in London. The two sides were negotiating a potential fight for the fall - but their discussions fell apart when the World Boxing Association ordered Joshua to reach an agreement with mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin.

They should hang him out to dry for being such a big baby. Hes got nowhere else to make money. Offers down from 15 mill, to 10, possibly 11 if we are feeling generous..... maybe!!!!!!!

Why on earth would Wilder be worth less if he goes out there and beats Breazeale or Miller?

There are only two guys in the division that are head and shoulders above the rest, and they're Wilder and Joshua. I think third would be Ortiz, and Wilder already beat him. After that maybe Parker or Pulev.

I think Povetkin looked shot against Price. Only issue was, Price looked even more shot. Joshua should make easy work of Povetkin. I don't see Povetkin as better than guys Joshua has already beaten. Not at his age and without his PEDs.

"When you look at a contract and it's all blank, and then you look at it and there's Anthony Joshua's signature on it, it's a lot more tempting to just get it done, so fingers crossed he'll sign it."

And just think, people support this guy. Here's another admission of his tactics lol
