All right, now that I can’t get behind. F ucking with the man’s pride at this point and this is spiteful and he knows it. There’s A side - B side expectations but you don’t raise it and then lower it, especially if it’s flat fee. Sure, Joshua will raise his profile but that has nothing to do with that. That just means Joshua gets more money, not Wilder less.
That’s sleazy as f uck, even for a promoter. F uck out of here with that.Last edited by NearHypnos; 07-12-2018, 03:13 PM.Comment

I'm sick of all this back and forth bull from both side, either have the fight mate or just shut the f up and keep each other's names put your mouths. All absolute cvntsComment

He's not wrong though. Who's value will increase more, Joshua after beating Povetkin in front of 90,000 people at Wembley or Wilder after beating Breazeale in front of 12,000 in Alabama? It's pretty obvious.Comment

As a boxing fan, you should be eager to see the best fight the best instead of being concerned with how much money a multi-millionaire is going to earn for the fight. UK fight fans have little interest in seeing Joshua fight the best opponents available. That's the only plausible explanation for them defending and supporting Hearn/Joshua's diva-like negotiating stance. If your name is not Anthony Joshua, why do you care how much money he makes? You'd rather be denied the opportunity to see the fight because you're worried about Joshua's finances?Comment

To be honest, that's the only think that really bothers me out of this whole situation: AJ is 3 belt holder HW Champion and his promoter is doing ALL the talking. Obviously, I highly doubt that AJ is actually afraid of Wilder but how about speaking up a bit!Comment

Forget about foolish fanboys. Fanboys don't do the negotiating. Wilder was willing to earn a fraction of what Joshua earns, and they still could not reach a deal. Now Hearn is saying Wilder deserves even less. That has nothing to do with fanboys. That is fear hiding behind greed.Comment
